Old-Growth
On that roll of 24, you succeed, gaining 1 Chase Point.

OOC:
Vorza
On that roll of 26, you roll a critical success, gaining 2 Chase Points.
Vorza steps around, skids to a halt then spins back into a run avoiding the vehicles at the traffic crossing. You look up ahead and see the drone heading towards a safety crossing.
OOC:
Vorza:
With that roll you earn a Hero Point. Note it on your Character Sheet. The first Critical Success of this game.
Apr 26, 2026 5:37 am
Old-Growth, Vorza and LUNAR-17 come running out of the traffic crossing and see a safety crossing ahead of them. LUNAR-17 sees the drone blink in and out of its cloaking momentarily and points towards the safety crossing. A blinking traffic signal glows above a busy intersection, signaling when it is safe for pedestrians to cross.
OOC:
SAFETY CROSSING
Everyone in the party needs to make a DC 14 Computing or Thievery roll to hack or rewire the traffic signal; spend a round doing nothing to automatically gain 1 Chase Point, but if you do you take a -2 circumstance penalty to checks to overcome the next obstacle.

Jaedana
On that Thievery roll of 22, you succeed, gaining 1 Chase Point.
Jaedana deftly manages to rewire the signal to part of the blinking traffic light. It flickers favourably a couple of times. People are confused and not sure whether to cross or not. Old-Growth stands sensing a disturbance in the light patterns.

Vorza manages to rewire the signal to the other part of the blinking traffic light. Again, it flickers favourably a couple of times and then they stop blinking and shine brightly. Vehicles all come to a stop just before the safety crossing and throngs of people cross the road intent on getting to wherever it is they are heading to.

The spy drone skips just above their heads and trys to disappear into the crowd.
OOC:

On that Athletics roll of 13, you do not succeed. On that Society roll of 17, you succeed, gaining 1 Chase Point..
Vorza struggles to negotiate the crowd but is able to follow the flow and spys the spy drone flying towards a construction site.

As you all approach you see metal barricades bar the path forward, blocking off a partially completed construction site heaped with piles of scrap metal and other building materials. The drone lazily weaves through the obstacles in your way, but the gaps are too small for most creatures to easily fly through.
OOC:
CONSTRUCTION SITE
Everyone in the party needs to make a DC 13 Athletics roll to jump through or break through barricades, DC 15 Athletics or Striving Lore to parkour through the construction site, DC 12 Labor Lore or Stealth to sneak through the workers' entrance.
Apr 27, 2026 9:55 pm
Lunar-17 hastily glances around for anyone watching the workers' entrance and, not immediately seeing anyone, tries her luck to slip through and bypass the barricade.
