The base concept is sort of the "Man out of Time" trope, where he was rift torn from a universe perpetually locked in a 20th century, pseudo-World War vibe, where-in he was a combat engineer.
Haha! I like that as well. Buck Rogers! ...Does that date me? John Crichton from Farscape? :) Both pilots, I guess though.

So what do we have now:

B: Dragon Hatchling (omg everything hurts)
C: psi-ghost Zapper, or a Vronwor Momano Headhunter
D: Glitter Boy (ranged)
Q: Undead Slayer (melee)
S: Merc/Ops build (command?)

I think I can say no one will expect us haha

Depending on if the GM allows command buffs to apply over radio waves, me just being there gives everyone else +2 to resist being shaken, +1 to fighting rolls, can redistribute my bennies apparently freely to others, and if I take fevor, +1 damage.

Outside of that, I’ll probably end up filling a tech support / wheelman role or some such nonsense.

MARS is a good option. They won't have the raw power of some (many) of the other Frameworks, but will have a lot of versatility and also have the advantage (in many cases in Rifts) of being more human.
A MARS also starts as Seasoned, if I recall correctly. I seriously considered a cybered up MARS myself.
Yes, MARS begin Seasoned, and unless stated otherwise in the Framework gains two rolls on the Fortune and Glory table.

Regarding the table rolls, would you rather have a dedicated Rolls thread or would making those rolls in this OOC thread work?
Either works for me, but a dedicated rolls thread would be cleaner.

I only get one roll (and while the rules offer three tables, only one actually makes sense.) I can do it wherever. There was talk of individual threads for character development. Since a Dragon Hatchling, by rule, doesn't really have a background I, again, can do whatever.

Speaking of the individual threads, the Our Cast subforum is available now. Go ahead and make a New Thread there for your character. :)

IMO being. Able to command or calm people over any form of telecommunications is what makes a leader :) yes, it would work

Go ahead and make a thread for your character in the Our Cast. You can roll your rolls there or in the Rolls thread I’m about to open :)

What are your thoughts on using the Adventure Deck?

It's not like we need *more" power, lol, but I'm down for it. They've been fun/clutch in my home game.

I'll go with the Vronwor Momano Headhunter. Give me a few days to get all this crazy sorted out and written down.

I’m definitely interested to see how it turns out :)

Also, I’ve set up a Campaign entry on Savaged.us here.... I’ve got to figure the best way to make use of it, but at the least it would be keeping all together for reference :)
Sep 4, 2026 9:17 pm
I made had edits after the savaged.us for the house rule and to mark which this are only usable in dragon form, so what's still there won't match exactly.
Sep 4, 2026 9:27 pm
Not a problem, I’m going to try to figure a way to add the house rules to the campaign there. :)

Is there a difference between the two character sheets listed for savage rifts (swade)? Upon first glance, doesn't seem like it.
Sep 5, 2026 8:36 pm
The only difference is the first one (in reddish) has the Create Character button which will prompt you for a name and then create a new character with that name using that sheet in your characters list. :)

Hey all, busy with the holiday weekend. I'll have my character submitted Wednesday evening.
Sep 7, 2026 4:23 pm
I can work with that. :)

How's everyone else coming along? I'd like to have everything squared away to get things rolling around Friday. :)
Sep 7, 2026 7:37 pm
I believe I'm ready! Looking forward to my undead slayer not encountering an Undead haha
Sep 7, 2026 10:03 pm
I'm ready to go. Since the Dragon Hatchling framework is, by design, not finished when the game starts, the character sheet is as ready as it's going to be.
