Do you all go to the dwarf HQ in Little Grendus? Do you go separate ways? Aeyn's household loyalty is interesting. What was he doing out in the dark? An errand for his liege? A carouse?

Aeyn winced and bunched his hands, but fell in line, following along.

Sorry for any delay or any confusion. I don't know much about the world/city other than the few little blurbs written, so I didn't know where my character came from or how long they've been around, etc.

Bayard shrugged his cyclopean shoulders. If Serpent is coming, so will I. Maybe the dwarves will have better food than our last stop… he said, enunciating the word food with a well-timed rumble from his gut.

You end up back at the secure location where the dwarfs have their Resistance HQ.
Nobody is up yet, but Brigon and Gurtha lead the way in and go to wake up Donny et al.
Looking around, Bayard and Serpent and Aeyn see the same comfortable atrium where Röc dined with the dwarfs a few days ago. Low wooden table, wooden chairs and benches, potted plants, tile floor, stone walls … a nice little courtyard in the sunshine. The table is bare.
Donny emerges from a side door, yawning. "Well now," he says, "what of the night, lads? And who are you new three?"

Dwarves! Rather peculiar, muses Aeyn.

I confess that even my mighty bowels trembled to see so many entrails, and I don’t remember if there were horns. But there must have been. If there had been no horns, I wouldn’t have as ensorcelled by fear.
