I just saw this in the Gamers Tavern today. I am completely unfamiliar with anything related to the system or setting, but the amount of effort shown in your recruitment peeks my attention. I may be old but I am usually fairly quick on the uptake. I do not know if you still need players or if this is going forward, but I would like to be involved. I also agree with the Option 2 assessment.

@Ggjuggernaut, @Morphling: Still any interest in joining? We could do with a fourth and haven't started yet, but we're getting into Chapter 0.
Yeah, I'm interested. Where do I sign up?

I will send invites, and you can start reading the information in the character creation section. Ideal reading order is: Motivations, Attributes, Strain, "Clarity Health Stress", Skills, Archetypes. But feel free to take them in whatever order you like. No rush; we'll bring you in at a time that I feel works best. When submitting a character, please note that one of our players has posted a custom sheet everyone's using. It's in the General Discussion.

I am about to go to dinner, but I will be back in two hours and happy to discuss any concepts or mechanical questions with you both.

As far as needing players, I can run with the three I have, but I will gladly take the next two that finish character creation. So if that's you two, and Ggjuggernaut doesn't get back to us in time, they will be asked to wait for an opening. We have a player who is looking to play for "a few story arcs," so eventually an opening will be a thing regardless of how this goes. "Eventually" here meaning a year, likely. But I can run with five people, confidently.

Main thing everyone has to concern themselves with is keeping up with the crowd. If four players are ready to proceed, or are waiting on fifth player's input, I'm going to give that up to a week since the last person's post, then nudge things along as if fifth player said "Nothing further, go ahead." I'm not here to ensure a breakneck pace, but I don't want to lose people because they routinely wait three weeks for a specific person to speak up.
