A CROWN RETURNED GAMEPLAY THREAD

For the second time today, Fira falls on her side and lies there for a moment like a particularly embarrassed horse.

Oh dear! On that roll of 5 Sapphira, the heavy double doors swing a little however, they remain closed and in place.

Jayne, pushing open one of the large iron bound double doors to the old ruined monastery requires immense effort, as the heavy, iron bound door swings inwards. The decaying wood scrapes against the uneven stone floor as the heavy portal slowly yields to reveal a shadowed interior.

ENTRY HALL
Beyond the double doors is a small dark hall littered with mounds of debris and a year’s worth of dead leaves. A narrow path winds inside. A smallish entry hall extends some 15 feet before you ending in a stone wall. Two corridors lead off this, one heading to the left, one heading to the right.

Jayne, on that Survival roll of 12, you discern that a lot of foot traffic comes through here.

Rhaemy and Sapphira, on that Survival roll of 18, you discern that most of the traffic through this area heads to the right (to the East).

Trenton, on that Survival roll of 20, you too discern that most of the traffic through this area heads to the right (to the East).

"Well, isn't that lucky! Seems like we don't need to be busting too many doors open, after all." With that, Fira sweeps her leg and kicks back up onto her feet. "Let's go greet our gracious hosts."

Heading to the east, Fira does however tread lighter than she would otherwise.

You notice that the Great Hall is a small Great Hall that is 10 feet wide and 15 feet long. The corridors that head off to the East and the West are only 5 feet wide.

So, are you moving in single file or two people per 5 foot square?

Saphirra, since you have moved to the front of the party, I have reconfigured the Map as well as the compass to reflect this change. Now that you have moved into the Entry Hall area you have a much better view.

You can see some double doors right in front of you to the North that are ajar.

To the West and East in the Entry Hall are two doors that sit opposite to each other and are closed.

In the corridor heading West are two doors opposite each other, the door to the North is ajar, the door to the South is closed.

In the corridor heading East, the corridors continue on for 15 feet and then appears to head to the South.

The place sits in dim light as there is no light other than from outside so your eyes have taken a little while to adjust. Those of you that have dim light, low light or darkvision seem to be ok. Those without may struggle as you move further into darkness depending on the light.
