A CROWN RETURNED GAMEPLAY THREAD

"Well, unless someone feels like a drink..." Fira forms up by the door (M13). "Anyone feel like saying hello?"

Sapphira, on that roll of 16, you notice that the prints here and there, are mixed with the paw prints of wolves.

"Hey guys!" Fira raises her voice just slightly, waving Trenton and Jayne over and showing them the prints. "Check this out! You know what that means, right?" She puts her fingers to her lips and whistles loudly, as if to lure any hostile creatures inside out.

Rhaemy, on that Perception roll of 16, you see that moss and creeper vines cover most of the statues surface. You remove the vines around the base to get a better look tand see that the base uncovers an old inscription in Dwarven that reads, "All praise…" although the name of whoever was intended to be praised has been smashed into illegibility long ago.

You also notice some markings on the ground that lead towards where Saphirra is standing right now outside the double doors. They are the same markings you found at the campfire at the Hags Cottage. The markings are that of some small lizard like creatures footprints, the signs of a person being dragged but this time without a struggle. They seem to head into and beyond the double doors.

The heavy, iron-banded oak doors of the monastery, Droskar's Crucible loom ahead, splintered and sagging on rusted hinges. Flaking moss clings to the ancient stone arches, while the surrounding breeze from inside curls around you. You grip your weapons and steel your nerves, waiting in the biting chill shadow of the buidling.

Those of you not near the double doors see your companions have readied themselves to enter.

"Not coming out, huh?" Fira grumbles. "Well, let us come to YOU!" Running past the others, Fira plants her feet, jumps, and delivers a flying kick to the sagging doors.
