You move to within 30 feet of the massive tree and you see large, naturally forming piles of leaves at its base, higher at the trunk and then receding as the piles of leaves reaches further out.
Suddenly, from out of the pile of leaves comes a serpentine creature, about 12 to 14 feet long from nose to tail tip, and weighing about 400 pounds.
It has a row of long spines running along its back from head to tail, as well as scaly dewlaps at its throat.
This wyrm has two arms, with claws at the end of each hand allowing them to easily climb trees. A long, powerful, and flexible tail extends beyond these arms.
