MURDER MOST FOUL GAMEPLAY THREAD

Jaedana calmly - considering the situation - aims her laser rifle constantly changing her target between black shadowy figures, not being sure which one she should hit first. As she is considering the possibility that only one of the figures is real and the rest could be some kind of illusions.
"Can someone check if there could be some kind of illusion in play here?" - she whispers through the comms to her friends.

"Also... are we sure the talking is over? I'm not good at this, but maybe some of you could try to talk to them... or him... and try to extract some information... before we will kill them?" - she adds masking her voice with the comm special function.

Vorza looked at all the figures and the drones as a dark purple aura slowly coursed through his body. He snorted and said, "Pretty arrangement of adversaries that can either be illusions or real tricks. I would love to test it out."

Ancite Wingbot Two Actions:
Action 1: Flys in to attack Nitpick.
Action 2 & 3: Trill

Everybody make a Fortitude Save as the piercing Trill shriek of the wingbot hits your ears painfully.
https://i.imgur.com/F7nGlr4.png

A metallic anacite wingbot dives on high from the eerie shadows of a greyish statue some 20 feet away from you Nitpick.

Its silvery, metallic grey, insectoid like chassis catches the harsh light. It unleashes a horrible shrill electromagnetic piercing trill, stunning its targets, before its mechanical wings snap open wide to reveal many integrated laser rays that tear through the air sending miniature shockwaves of light bouncing around its body.

Before you can react to the nasty mechanical threat, the anacite wingbot continues to emit a high-pitched, shrieking vibration that reverberates in your eardrums.

The shrill trilling noise is accompanied by violent electromagnetic maga pulses tuned specifically to disorient creatures through their senses whether they be mechanical or not. There is definitely no need for a hearing test as you all have heard the terrible shrieking noise together.

Using Weakening shot (aim, attack and potential effect) 2A
and Sabotage 1A

Both against Anacite Wingbot 1

As I presume Weakening shot was a success: so choosing Clumsy 1 condition for the bot.

You all manage to make your DC 13 Fortitude saves against the shrieks.
Jaedana shoots at Anacite Wingbot 2. A crackling beam of cohesive energy slices through the air, instantly superheating the anacite wingbot's wing joint. The concentrated heat blasts through the metallic insectoid chassis, causing a burst of blinding orange sparks and severed circuitry. The drone spirals downward, trailing thin black smoke and a cascade of molten metal, crashing it into the ground. Bluish electrical energy briefly flashes before a small orange flame bursts into life.

Jaedana then turns to sabotage the other anacite wingbot but doesn't quite understand the coding and the wingbot continues to fly forward.

Tapkey's Actions:

Action 1: Tapkey pulls out his Boom Pistol.

Action 2: Boom Pistol Strike

Action 3: Boom Pistol Strike (-5 for second attack)

HELL YEAH!
Tapkey aims his boom pistol—a megaphone-style firearm that shoots sudden bursts of sonic energy. It collides with an anacite wingbot, the dragonfly-like mechanical insect. The blast instantly shatters the bot's solar-paneled wings, sending glittering, metallic debris and a shower of internal nanites cascading to the ground in a violently vibrating shockwave.

Confidence brimming, Tapkey fires again. He grips the oversized handle with one of his six hands and pulls the trigger, instantly unleashing another focused, invisible wall of pure, concussive vibration. The force of the sound wave tears through the air with an ear-splitting crack, briefly warping the surrounding atmosphere into a visible, rippling ring of compressed air. The shockwave slams squarely into the wingbot mid-flight. The air friction and resonant frequency of the blast violently clash with the drone's own electromagnetic pulses and vibrational systems. The delicate, solar-paneled lattice of the wingbot's wings snaps and buckles. A spray of jagged, silvery mechanical shrapnel explodes outward from its chassis, raining glittering flakes of metal down toward the terrain below.

Nitpick at the start of initiative throws down his Quantum Field with Warp Reality.

This will puts a 20-foot zone which Nitpick puts down to enclose as many opponents as possible.

He then casts Ricochet on the closest enemy, and the disk he formed bounces to another target.

Both Anacite Wingbots have been destroyed by Jaedana's laser rifle fire and Tapkey's boom pistol fire.

Nitpick, you notice that when you dropped your Quantum Field with Warp Reality onto the two closest Shadowy Duplicates that. they simply disappear. You are not exactly sure why but you surmise that your Quantum field with Warp Reality has somehow canceled out the Shadowy Duplicates in this case. You figure that maybe they were trying to use their own form of Quantum Field in order to Warp Reality and due to both fields colliding, it canceled them out for some weird reason.
Standing at a hyperactive three feet tall, this Nitpick the Ysoki, radiates a paradoxical, slightly out-of-sync energy. His long whiskers twitch in time with the shifting fabric of space, and a nervous, brilliant spark glints in their eyes as they perceive the infinite multiverses overlapping with their current one. With the Warp Reality action, Nitpick reaches out and makes a slight, disruptive gesture, violently cracking the stability of the space around them. A 20-foot radius burst manifests as a shimmering haze, a cascading waterfall of iridescent, pixelated code that hangs in the air, transforming the local environment. As alternate-reality terrain bleeds through the edges of the field, he bends the laws of physics. The ground dissolves into an impossible, glowing neon flora.

The two shadowy duplicates caught in the radius of the Ysoki's Quantum Field shatter into glittering prisms of dark matter, collapsing inward at the speed of thought. The duplicate appears to drift backward in time, becoming more translucent until it falls out of phase with reality entirely. The figure violently vibrates until it decoheres, leaving nothing but an ambient hum of electromagnetic energy.

The quick-footed Nitpick then channels a humming hum of arcane energy, manifesting a spinning disk or orb of shimmering steel. With a chittering shout and a flick of his wrist, he hurls it at the first shadowy duplicate. As the projectile strikes, it instantly moves straight through the shadowy figure, bouncing off the cold floor, hitting a statue and then dissipating. The Shadowy Duplicates are unaffected by the spell.
