Oh, hey, there are Chase mechanics now. I thought we were moving into tactical movement, I can dial it back a bit :P

Incidentally, the way the Mount action is written, I can literally ride one of you guys into battle so long as you're willing. If anybody wants to give me a lift, I can maybe do some Envoy stuff without spending actions on movement...or, ya know, shoot my boomgun. It's a pistol, so, there's a better argument for concealability in a social context.

We are now in ENCOUNTER MODE Chase.

STEP1: ROLL INITIATIVE

I am just waiting for one more PC, LUNAR-17 to roll Initiative. Then we can get on with the chase. As it is, the party being chased, in this case the Spy Drone, will go first and then the PC's will take action according to their Initiative rolls. The PC's will then encounter their first obstacle.

OOC: I am so sorry for the delay everybody! I am back now and will be able to post consistently again moving forward.

Before she has even had a moment to process the news of Tierny's death, Lunar-17 is recoiling from the table in shock as the drone's shot drives through the projection of her friend. She stumbles to her feet, trying to make sense of everything that is happening, and latches on to her new companions' calls to chase after the drone. Unable to find the words right away to express her agreement, she begins to move after them and let her actions do the talking. In the meantime though she can't help but question out loud, "What the-? Why would they shoo-? What!?"

The Aballon Spy Drone shoots off down the street and is already by the traffic crossing as you all scramble out of the Analog Cafe after it. You scan the sky for it as it continues to blink in and out of vision as it activates its cloaking module. The chase is on!

Everyone in the party needs to make a DC 12 Perception or Survival check to notice the drone, a DC 15 Crafting or Computers check to identify its electronic signature. Beginning with Old-Growth and so on down the Initiative Order.

Old-Growth Use Their Sense if The Drone Was In The Street. Even Though They Don't have Eyes, Wildfire Using Their Sensory Organ To Sense Their Target, Just Like Old-Growth Use To Hunt Food.

Old-Growth scans the street but does not sense the drone. He looks to his left, right and up into the sky to sense the heat and light patterns of the elusive drone but hasn't sensed the drone yet.

Jaedana looks down the street and picks up the flickering light playing across the drone and picks up on the drones electronic signature.

Jaedana and Vorza point at the drone and the party gives chase now that they have their eye on the prize. You all begin to run towards the spy drone as it flys through the air, some 20 feet above the street level.

You all come across a Traffic Crossing where dozens of vehicles - sleek urban cruisers, hovercycles, all terrain crawlers, and bulky autobuses zip through this intersection at high speeds.

Everyone in the party needs to make a DC 15 Acrobatics or Athletics roll to weave or sprint through, DC 13 Piloting to follow the flow.
