Players, do we want to take a breath and attack it in a few moments. I guess it should end this combat and start another woth with a surprise round. If one side is surprised, the other side automatically gets to take actions before the first initiative roll. Wouldn't it?
You mean, if we start new combat and ichor roll better it will attack us before we attack it even though it is asleep until we attack it...
I guess need DM to tell:
1. If we attack now on round 2 will ichor attack us back on the same round
2. If we decide not to attack this round and next round ichor wins initiative - will it then be able toattack back after we attack on our initiative?
We had to kill, but we don't have to kill it this second. I'm walking around to check of there are more enemies ready to ambush us. If you think your PC is in a hurry to kill just go ahead and attack. I'm user to play games where everyone roleplay their own PC and we aren't really a party, just bunch of strangers, so following different strategies is rational.
The creature is struck by Biscuit and Varos. A blast of Ichor explodes all over the temple. The heroes are flung back towards the Temple's ornate doors.
After a brief moment, the water is clear of the yellow pus colored ichor. The temple begins to brighten until it glows an incandescent blue, transforming from a place of corruption and darkness, to one of beauty and light.
