Im going to consult the spirits to see if they can help with this dilemma Orrid says as he attempts to call on a spirit

Aurora nods towards Orrid, waiting on the Clay Golems answer.
Dec 12, 2025 2:29 pm
Orrid feels a spirit respond to her call
OOC:
what are you looking to get from the Spirit? Give a single primary objective above with any supporting questions
As this is going on the two massive constructs decide they are done waiting for your and move to engage each other both slow heavy blows, filling the round with the sounds of impact that do not seem to be doing much actual damage at this time as their gravy summit absorbs much of the damage.

Orrid steps back to avoid getting caught up in the golem fight To me it sounds like the Clay Golem is malfunctioning and the Bronze one is trying to do his duty by stopping him he says inquisitively while watching the golems fight Spirit can you tell me if theres a way to stop them from fighting?

The spirit forms visibly as it replies Both speak the truth as they know it. But truth is formed by perception, awareness, and belief. It pauses for a moment before zipping around the room quickly then returning to continue it's answer An event of great power transpired recently but left traces of potential solutions. The remains of some crystal, both fragment and dust, lie scattered about the room and over the combatants. In these remains a trace of magics that seeks to restore what once was and a potential of great power tied to the two, They are weak and slow now with it's loss. It is possible to defeat and subdue either or both the combatants the resolve the conundrum you face or you may try to restore that which they lost in the midst of their brawl.

And with that done the spirit fades and you feel it leave though it's attention can still be felt by

Ursa! Can you try to detect magic from that broken crystal? Orrid says as he carefully gets closer to the fighting statues while pointing out the crystal fragments
Orrid examines the remains of the broken crystal very carefully

Rolls

Perception plus advantage - (3d6)

(465) = 15

Orrid notes several thins as he gets closer
Faint crystal dust lays over the entire region with larger fragments on the ground the two golems have turned into their arena
The bottom portion of what looks to be a sphere-shaped indentation with a large chunk of crystal in what remains of the pedestal
Dec 14, 2025 7:54 pm
Aurora huffs at the Clay golem ignoring her question, then shrugs.
"I will try to sense it" , she replies to Orrid.
Focusing on the shards she tries to sense residual magic.

Rolls

Spirit touched sensing magic - (2d6)

(63) = 9

Dec 14, 2025 8:34 pm
The Golems seem to care little for your words, fully intent on each other, at this point in time.

Ursa is indeed able to sense magic coming from several of the larger crystal shards. Though all the smaller fragments, and indeed even the dust, show traces of former enchantment they have lost too much to be of use. Aurora quickly spots 6 larger fragments that still blaze with magic power. The large piece on the pedestal, one embedded on each of the golems, and three more scattered around the room.
Dec 15, 2025 7:48 am
"There are traces of an enchantment. These four and one in each Golem are powerful enough for the enchantment to be strenghtened again. The smaller shards and the dust are too weak to be used" , she says pointing at each of the larger pieces.
She moves towards the one closest to her, picking it up, so it won't be destroyed by the Golems stepping on it.

Sorry been busy
Dec 16, 2025 2:06 am
Orrid listens to Ursa intently So to piece it back together we would need to somehow get two of the missing pieces from the Golems? he says as he looks at the ongoing battle So we can fight them or we can try to take the shards while they're distracted by fighting each other

The two large lumbering figures move with power and though their strikes are fast and sharp you feel you should be able to avoid their overall movements with timing and a bit of patience. The biggest stumbling block would be securing the two embedded in to active combatants.
Dec 17, 2025 12:30 am
Orrid looks to Ursa with excitement Lets try to gather the shards on the ground first amd then we can hatch a plan to remove the Remaining shards from the backs of the golems he proclaims while pointing at each shard piece Maybe if we do it fast enough we can go unnoticed or at the very least avoid fighting them Orrid slowly dances around the golems fighting while helping Ursa pick up the remaining shards on the ground

Roll a test to retrieve the shards without getting embroiled in the fight. Any traits may be applied with supporting explanations.

"I will go for these to, can you try to get to the other two? After that...we will see how to claim the two from the Golems", she says and starts to move towards the two shards farthes from Orrid.

Aurora grabs two, skirting the large constructs melee but when Orrid moves she grabs the fist but when moving to grab the one on the pedestal she realizes that it is bound somehow to the pedestal itself causing a misstep and stumble cause that her to get embroiled in the fight. The Golems do not seem to target her directly but seem agitated as she got near the pedestal. The golems shift their focus to the crystal fragment in her hand and reach for it with their large and fast grasping hands.

COMBAT!
[ +- ] Combat
[ +- ] Focus
OOC:
Both golems are not attacking directly but their hands are so large and fast that they will still deal damage as they "grab" for the crystal fragments held by any individual. They stay near the pedestal and will not pursue you if you leave that area with a movement action.
The clay golem manages to land a hand on Orrid and the crystal 1 damage and fends off the Bronze one. With Orrid now in its grasp the Clayis forced to fend off the Bronze with only a single arm while the Bronze seems to spit it's attention between reaching for Orrid and smashing the Clay one.
You can use athletics to break the grip or acrobatics to slip free of the golem's hand, or just attack it.
