Turn 1
The Crafty goblin warriors move around the battlefield.

2 of them attack Obsidian, for a total of 10 damage.

3 of them attack Naercalad, for a total of 14 damage. You are also Bleeding! (save ends)

1 of them attack Vordokov, for another 3 damage.

Last but not least, the Bugbear Channeler shifts a single square south and tries to shapechange Obsidian. He fails, but causes 8 corruption damage, nonetheless.
As the heroes engage, the channeler bellows, "The Cup of Iulius shall make the legions of Queen Bargnot strong!"

Malfina, this is a legendary treasure said to have the power to transform even the weakest individuals into powerful warriors. The cup was lost before the fall of the Caelian empire, more than a thousand years ago, though it is said to be magically sealed in the lower levels of the tomb of a Caelian knight who used the cup to turn back an incursion of demons.

Marbin, you notice that the goblins avoid harming Violet, since they want the ritual to kill her and dispel the ward.

Obsidian will turn to face the wall and bring his great maul down with a thundering impact to the groundBACK!!! he will the shift to 04 and use knockback against B1 trying to knock him into the statue and hopefully bounce him off that into the barrier. I will use a surge to increase damage.
OOC:
Back damage to all in range 5 +2 for surge +2 for might(Primordial Strength) for 9 total. Push on B1 is one.

The orc regains some vitality at seeing one of his assailants go down, but it is quickly snuffed out by another of them skewering him. His vision wavering, Vordokov says a silent prayer for Grole to heal him, in order to lay these wretched beings to rest and save the girl.

A cocoon of warmth envelops him, healing energies circling about.

He disengages and makes his way back to the hallway where Malfina is, trying to parry further sword strikes.

At -3, regained 6, up to 3, took 3 damage, down to 0. Dying and Bleeding. Using Healing Grace maneuver, gain 2 extra piety, 5 total, spending 2 + free one to get back to full health, 3 piety left. Dying and Bleeding conditions no more. mic drop.

Rolls Save for Bleed.

Fires two shot at Bugbear and W2.a. Bugbear is still marked so everyone get's an edge on the attack. Will spend 1 focus on Bugbear for + 4 damage and the next ally that hits Bugbear, I'll spend another focus on +4 more damage.

Malfina continues to burn the bugbear with her Flame, calls down more on the creatures attacking her nearby friends, and knocks one back into her fire!
OOC:
Malfina gains 4 Essence (2 for new round, 2 for victories, 1 for damage done this round, -1 for Persistent), bringing her to 5. As a free maneuver, she gets to repeat the power roll for her Flesh a Crucible power on Bugbear, who is still in range. Bugbear takes 15 fire damage. As her Main Action, she spends her 5 Essence and conjures a Conflagration, centered to the right of the nearby pillar, at 4K. This hits W2.b, W3.a, W3.b for 10 fire damage each. She makes it Persistent! She then uses the Practical Magic maneuver to knock back S1.e two squares into W2.b and the flame!
(not Sure whether S1.e takes the 10 fire damage or just the 1 point of knock back damage, which W2.b also takes... If W2.b is dead, then I guess S1.e doesn't take knock back damage, but gets knocked back into the flame, taking 10 fire?)

Marbin screams in pain as he is burned by the ward. He shakes his head, and is able to grit his teeth. This won't be how it ends.

He rushes back to Violet, cutting at every monstrosity he passes by.

Using my Maneuver to Catch Breath taking me up to 15 Stamina. Then I'll use all my Insight and activate One Hundred Throats. Might as well use my trigger to act before the bad guys as well, maybe take some down before they can hurt us.

Will shift NW to Q13, then go straight west 5 spaces to M13, then NW to L12 and north to L11. Targeting S5.b, S5.c, S1.c

If I misunderstood that (how minion health works) I would like to take a different turn? Willing to keep my roll and transfer it.
Shrike slams a fist into the goblin crowding in on him between the other two and yanks it against the othrr goblin against the wall and slides around the third and takes just a moment between attacks to catch his breath.

Malfina, your flames roar brighter as Naercalad’s arrows streak past, each strike finding its mark. The bugbear howls, its already hurt body wreathed in fire and pierced through by fletching. With a final, agonized roar, the bugbear collapses, the white energy flow flickering wildly before fading to nothing.

The ritual is over. The ward is intact.

Marbin, you charge through the chaos, blade cutting through the remaining goblins in a blur of desperate fury. Each swing clears your path until you reach Violet once more. She is alive and well. Time to save her.

All around, the surviving goblins wail in terror. Their leader’s death has broken them. They drop weapons, scrambling toward any exit they can find, some diving into the dark corners of the tomb, others clawing madly towards the statue and the upper levels.

Shrike will follow the goblins, chasing the stragglers, and swinging at any that lag behind the others. He's focused kn keeping them fleeing and in a panicmkre than finishing them off, but if any lag too much he will motivate them, or end them, depending on the opportunity. He only follows then as far as the enterance to the tomb.

Vordokov rushes over to the girl, making sure she's in good shape and doesn't require any healing. Satisfied she'll make it through, he glances at the staircase leading down, his curiosity peaked about this Cup the bugbear kept mentioning.

That would have to wait however, as there was a mother desperately waiting for her little girl.

Shrike, Obsidian, you chase the retreating goblins through the tomb. The surviving creatures scramble in pure panic. A few lag behind, and Shrike’s swift strikes send them tumbling, their bodies rolling lifelessly. Obsidian’s great maul crashes down with bone-shattering force, sending the message clear: no regrouping, no return. The remaining goblins vanish into the forest’s dark canopy.

Vordokov, you kneel beside Violet, relief flooding through you as you find her pulse steady and her breath calm—she’ll live. Yet as you glance toward the staircase below, your eyes catch the faint shimmer of the ward still humming across its opening. The ritual may have been broken, but perhaps killing the girl was never the only key—there must be another way to open the path below. Maybe someone in Broadhurst, the village where you met Ashleigh, Violet's mother, knows the secrets of this tomb, or the story of the Cup that this ward protects.

For now, though, it’s time to bring Violet home.

Marbin lets out a sigh of relief when he realizes Violet will be allright. He joinsVordokov in bringing out the girl, ready to bask in the glory of a relieved mother. Once outside though, he takes a moment to go over his wounds and catching his breath.

Naercalad, you move cautiously among the fallen goblins, your sharp eyes scanning for anything of value or significance. When you reach the bugbear’s corpse, searching her thoroughly, you find two rings — both marked by faint traces of dried blood that seem to reappear whenever you wipe them away. They are Bloodbound Bands, magic rings tied to life and shared vitality. One rests on Vorgosh’s hand, the other tucked safely inside her robes, perhaps meant for an apprentice who will now never receive it.

Beneath the folds of cloth, you also uncover two clear lenses carved from volcanic glass, smooth and faintly warm to the touch. Alongside them lies a small parchment written in precise Caelian script — a recipe detailing the creation of Foesense Lenses, powerful psionic spectacles capable of linking one’s perception to an enemy’s very senses.

When the last foe falls or flees, Malfina breathes a sigh of relief. She looks to the girl, but her allies seem to be taking good care of her. So she approaches the magical word and studies it. She has long been a student of magic and history, so perhaps she can gain some insight here.

Obsidian as he finishes chasing the enemies and killing randoms will move back outside and inform the mother that Violet is found and safe and will be out shortly.

Malfina, you collect information and perform some magic tests. Your next step would be to find an adequate library and undertake the following Discover Lore project: Unseal the second level of the Delian Tomb (45 Project Points)
As you gather your belongings and take Violet upstairs, its time to leave Delian's Tomb. At least for now.
