Eloras fires his bow at the first approaching shadow, then steps away to notch another arrow for the next shot while he tries to defend himself with his buckler from incoming attacks..

Three of the sconces go dark, rendering the hallway gloomier. Seven remain lit.

Seven shadows move among you, trying to strangle / smother. Three again at Borz, one each at Eloras and Hanford, two at Noxmorte.

Borz felt the cold chill of death attempt to steal his soul, but the cold was nothing new to the Komsan Warrior. The light had vindicated, and Borz understood that. While the foe defied reason- it fell as any other. He fell upon them with renewed vigor. Borz left little in the way of defense, he relied upon the ancestor's protection.

Two more torches wink dark. Only five remain lit, three to the left and two to the right. The hall is gloomy with fell darkness. The shadows seem invigorated in their swirling, darting movements.

Borz hisses, a low gravelly sound that built from his guts and emerged from his mouth. It sounded much more like the vocalization of an immense reptile than that of a man.

"Čuovga váldá du."

Dodging between the raking fingers of the shadowy entities Borz found and pressed an opening in their onslaught.

As Borz' torch disrupts another shadow, you notice that a torch on the wall winks out simultaneous with the shadow dispersing. Four torches on the walls remain lit, two to left and two to right, and four shadows plague you: one to each. Borz' two torches, hand-held, seem more potent as the darkness gathers in the vaulted ceiling of the hallway.

Borz' teeth were chattering, the blood in his veins felt like acid. Each successive touch of the shadow had stolen that much more of his vitality. The light had grown blinding. He couldn't see in the shadowy miasma, his body quivered as his flesh became an aching prison. Yet, in spite of cold so frigid it felt as if burning in helfire, he carried with the light, wrath of the ancients pushing him forth.

The Fibbonacci Series (1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55) Multiplied by 10 will make advancement quite slow if it resets each time.

In a flurry of fire and blade, three shadows tatter into shreds that vanish in the greater gloom. One only remains. Does Hanford or Noxmorte finish it?
