Also, just to check in, where's everyone at hp-wise? Anyone in need of healing?

@Synaptic: You do not recognize Father Marcus among the captives in the great hall.

@ctme2000: In fact, one of the trays contains several pitchers of ale, ready to be taken into the hall.

I absolutely love this plan and will do my darndest to make it happen.

Did anyone else put on a robe? If my count is correct, everyone could now be wearing a robe. We'll even tailor them for the shorter friends in the group.

OOC:
Do we still have Matilda? She could take the ale tray out.
Sep 23, 2025 10:36 am
OOC:
HP 8/9; I've got a healing potion if anyone needs it.
Sep 23, 2025 3:21 pm
OOC:
I'm at 1 HP, but I don'tknow if we want to waste a healing potion on my Blood Lust situation; I'm stuck with low HP anyway. I don't know if I'm supposed to roll it again, now, but if I do, I'm incapacitated....if so, ignore this and mark me down from Blood Lust.
Remembering the note, and seeing as I'm wearing a brown robe, while others are wearing red, I take the tray in a move to be ready to serve it to the people in the great hall, in deference to red robes. I wait for my robed companions and hope our robed disguises will do the trick for letting us into the great hall for the infiltration.

OOC:
I have 4/4hp! Just to double check, we’ve put the sleeping potion into the ale, right?
Sep 23, 2025 9:11 pm
OOC:
Ivar, I believe Matilda took off already.
OOC:
Hobb, I believe we're just about to take the it in.
OOC:
HP: 6/9
To appease the blood god(s), Orm pokes his finger with the dagger, drawing a bit of the red stuff out.

He grabs Llewellyn's shoulder, then the tray of drinks, "Appreciate the gumption, but perhaps best if I do this part. You look like you're about to keel over...which in and of itself may make a good distraction." chuckling to himself.

OOC:
How long does the blood lust last?
Sep 24, 2025 12:10 am
OOC:
Bloodlust is in effect for as long as you are in this cave. In the OOC, drgwen asked about going back to the skul,l and I am fine if the group would like to do that. But I am also okay if y'all want to press forward.

Let's let Ivar take his turn. We're assuming that Orm put some sleeping potion into each of the pitchers. I guess I didn't give an exact number earlier. Let's call it 5 pitchers of ale.
Sep 24, 2025 12:23 am
Ivar will spike 4 pitchers and carry the fifth himself. "When we enter start filling their glasses as I will fill my own. Then I will make a toast." As we enter the hall I will move to the table and snatch up a glass and fill it" The food will be out shortly. Let us have a toast." I will wait until all glasses are filled"To the Crimson hand!!! Broast!!"
OOC:
I have a chr of 18 if you need a roll

OOC:
Which characters are going out into the main hall with the drinks?

I will also give you the map of this room since y'all have peeked in. Then you can make better plans.

OOC:
Hobb can slip in using a round of invisibility! Gives me options!
Sep 24, 2025 3:55 pm
Lillit follows them into the grand hall. She prepares her Shadowdance spell to create a distraction if needed. Otherwise, she keeps her head down and takes up a position in the back corner of the hall.
Sep 24, 2025 5:02 pm
OOC:
Yeah, I'll need the healing just to stay alive, I'm down from Blood Lust.
Sep 24, 2025 7:33 pm
OOC:
seeing as only a sip of the sleep potion was able to knock out Ivar, is the same true of the healing potion? Does the entire bottle need to be ingested, or are there several sips available to recover HP?
Sep 25, 2025 12:16 am
OOC:
@ctme2000: Yeah, that sounds good to me. Let's say that the potion has five "sips." If you drink some roll a 1d6 and heal that much HP.

I will put the map here again since we are really moving into the room.
[ +- ] Great Hall
Here, it is obvious that the cultists wearing the red robes are in charge. They order the brown robed cultists around. The red-robed cultists seem to have the best seats in the hall and are deferred to when they suggest ways to torment the villagers.

In front of the two skull statues sits an ornate table with three chairs. There is a pouch of blood on the table.

As the door opens and robed figures with trays enter, the capitalized red-robed figure says, "About time! We're thirsty!"
OOC:
Everyone in bold can act, take an action. When you take your action, could you please say what color robe you are wearing, if you are wearing a robe. If you are still afflicted with the blood lust, please remember to roll if you don't attack someone. If you feel like your action might need a roll, go ahead and roll it and if I don't need it then I will just ignore it.

I will then have the Cultists react, and I will roll for light.

Ivar will look at Orm "Fill these mugs there is a mighty thirst here. Red brothers first of course." Ivar will move the first table to the left just inside the door and fill his mug and any other red robed friend that enters with him. After all are filled he will move to the big table in front and dip his hand in the blood"Raise your mugs to the Crimson Hand." Slap his hand on the skull and drain his mug.
