• WHAT'S THE WORST THING YOU EVER DID?
"It's probably not actually the violence. That's the easy answer, but it ain't true. Nah, th' worst is probably using peoples' real problems as a justification to lash out. Making them think I did it because I cared, when I really just wanted an excuse... both moral and legal." Lycaon says out loud, looking at the Crusher.

"It's cute you think I'm ashamed though. Fuckin' adorable."

OOC:
Risk Roll! Salem's success with the chair will render any actions to help Salem escape non-risky, so no risk roll for Salem's failed escape attempt.

Chair Time! - (1d6)

HELP. ChaAIr on mY hEaD.
OOC:
6 on the roll means the CRUSHER can't do jack about that chair! You'll note that it seems to be intentionally not inflicting stress on anyone but Lycaon.
OOC:
Initiative is yours! Lycaon and Erasmus have yet to go this round. ORION is currently out of view and will get +1d circumstance on its next roll.
Sep 3, 2025 12:36 am
OOC:
Not to nitpick but I believe the point of me using my psyche burst is that there is no chair on the Crusher's head. There is an incomprehensible something there, but as of now it is most certainly not a chair.

OOC:
Erasmus will Cantrip his last to have Orion attack. With the circumstance bonus, that brings him to be rolling 3d6
"Unfortunately, I am not a saint, and hardly the one to care about those who are neglected. The most I can do is grant you a swift end." Erasmus snapped out another guttural command, as something incomprehensibly twisted and violent sprang out of the shadows, all bulging raw tendons, and serrated fangs where fangs were not supposed to belong, howling a pained dirge.
OOC:
Damn, that's a tasty roll

EXECUTION

IT'S A GOOD HIT. I'LL GIVE YOU THAT. BUT YOU'RE STILL LESS THAN HALFWAY THERE, AND LYCAON HERE ISN'T LOOKING TOO GOOD, IS HE? ANYWAY, THE DOG TAKES THE HIT LIKE IT'S NOTHING, FUCKING BEAST OF A MUTT IT IS, AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR SHUTTING THIS CREATURE DOWN FALLS TO KYLE.
Sep 3, 2025 3:15 pm
"Yer a regular chatty Cathy, ain't'cha?"

Kyle will lean against the wall and start cleaning under his nails. "Y'got one thing wrong though. I ain't a bully. I'm an asshole. Need me t' explain th' diff'rence? Or y'think yer gettin' it?"
OOC:
Kyle isn't engaging.

OOC:
If Kyle's just standing there, this thing's gonna come at him. I'm gonna need either Force to fight back or Conditioning (+1D from chair) to evade it. Or, if he's trying to defuse this thing born of his own violence by not engaging, go ahead and roll Connection.

Two successes will reduce the severity two steps, and Lycaon manages to evade the Crusher! Top of the round, it's anyone's go.

"Give it space." Bonham grumbles. "Wind up and knock it out with our next swing." To their understanding, hurting one of those things with conventional weapons is difficult, but not impossible. However, their squad seems to be handling it just fine otherwise.

Time to set them up for a real good hit. They level their pistol at the fire extinguisher from earlier and squeeze two shots at it.
OOC:
Coordination roll as a setup for the next person who needs it. We can discuss who will use it and for what benefit once we see the result.

Rolls

Coordination roll to shoot the fire extinguisher - (1d6)

(2) = 2

OOC:
Well, that's my first outright failure but I get to mark one Pathos.
Sep 5, 2025 2:21 pm
OOC:
We love some pathos. No risk roll, that's a setup.
Sep 5, 2025 4:38 pm
Annoying little bastard. As the struggle continues, Salem attempts to plant his feet on a nearby wall and push off to slip out from underneath the Crusher.
OOC:
Don't wanna spend the extinguisher on this.

Rolls

Slide free through the power of horizontal squats! - Force - (2d6)

(42) = 6

Sep 7, 2025 1:29 am
OOC:
If possible, I'd like Erasmus to take a sneak shot at it with his pistol as a Covert action, since spending a Psyche Burst per action is expensive for Orion
Sep 8, 2025 3:04 pm
OOC:
Erasmus, ORION can still do things without expending a psyche burst, it just doesnt get the benefits of forbidden spirit, which is mostly really useful against full Sins, rather than a lesser sin-trace like this.
Sep 8, 2025 4:21 pm
OOC:
In that case, can Orion try a Covert for sneaky nibbles?
Sep 9, 2025 3:00 pm
OOC:
Force, always Force to directly strike something in melee. +1d since it's sneaky, though.
Sep 9, 2025 3:50 pm
Clicking his fingers, Erasmus simultaneously fired off a remarkably inaccurate burst from his pistol. Judging from his inexperienced grip, he hadn't really trained with it. However, it was a distraction for Orion, who came lunging out of the shadows with jaws unhinged for a bite.

Rolls

Attack doggo - (2d6)

(42) = 6
