AS ABOVE (game thread)

Time to start strong. The thing was there. Solid, tangible. If it could bleed, they could kill it.

So first they had to draw blood.

Turning, Bonham pulls a fire extinguisher off the wall and Hollows it out, reducing its weight to only a pound. They then throw it overhand at Lycaon, just like hurling a grenade.

"Lycaon! Fling it!"

Salem ducks under the passing fire extinguisher and lunges toward the Crusher, smoothly drawing his axe from his Pocket. His forward movement slows just enough to give the extinguisher time to make contact with the sickening thing.

Salem finishes his approach. He drives the axe down, angling for a strike that would cut the Crusher from shoulder to hip.

"You are like Orion. A small thing made large. An outcast. A piece of flotsam floating on the wind. Orion is twisted and ugly and he likes to eat humans a bit too much for anyone's liking. But I still love him, and he loves me. I am sorry you do not have anyone to love you." Erasmus said unexpectedly, eyes filled with something that eerily resembled sympathy.

By his side, Orion was nowhere to be seen.

HERE. FILL THIS UP, AND YOU'LL BE OUT OF ITS GRASP. BUT FOR NOW, GOOD LUCK GETTING ANYTHING DONE.

Lycaon sees Bonham's set up, and as the extinguisher passes overhead he'll hop up and swat it -- not unlike a volleyball player spiking a set ball -- to impart his own "encouragement."

"Nasty bastard." Bonham grunts, spitting out the comment as a means of maintaining their composure. "Look away from its face." That's addressed at the others. Picking up the chair by the desk, they slam it down on the Crusher's shoulders, enough to firmly set it in place but perhaps not enough to crack it. In a second, it becomes a blurred, shifting mass, unfit for sitting on or indeed for holding anything up or even looking at.

Rolling

Salem will grunt and attempt to wrestle his way out from under the Crusher's weight.
