I’m gonna go back and review XP stuff when the "session" ends, I’m not really thinking about it right now.

I would say no, though. Making a risky roll is just a part of playing the game, inviting disaster would be consciously doing something that you know is probably a bad idea.

I'm here. Between getting a feel for the system and having a character not really built around people-ing or being discreet, just not a lot to do sitting in a lobby.

Also, in general, I encourage y'all to take action, even if it might not be the smartest or most mechanically beneficial thing. In a game like this with the blades in the dark "fail forward" philosophy, failures help evolve the story and provide opportunities for furthering the investigation just as much as successes.
