No major deviations, Tom tends to deliver when it comes to worlds/rules, so for the time being I've got no reason to deviate. The only thing is that because it's PbP, a "session" is just gonna end/begin when I decide it does, probably at notable story beats within larger hunts or at the end of a given hunt.

Forbidden Spirit doesn't cost an action to do before the Sin takes their action, right? And I'm a bit confused on how it's resolved. They get +1D to their action, but grow to Cat+1 size, but roll Psyche to determine effects.

It’s part of the same action, so yes, it’s free to use. As for resolution, it gains +1D to the original action that triggered it, and then as long as it’s large you use PSYCHE to determine the effects of any action undertaken utilising its massive size. That’s the way I read it, anyhow, it’s a little weird.
Wait… no, because it reverts to normal size. Huh. I guess it just rolls with PSYCHE instead of the normal skill. Still, even though your psyche starts pretty low it’s not bad considering that a higher category would allow it to do things that are ordinarily impossible, and make things that are normally hard a normal roll.

Also, everyone. As part of creating your characters, I’d like you to answer the following questions:
- What keeps you going? Why do you continue to fight for CAIN?
- When/how did you manifest your powers? Who got hurt?
- What do you regret?
- What do you hate?
- What do you fear?
- What hurts?
I’d also like everyone to give me a list of lines and veils for this game. Lines being things you absolutely don’t want in the game at all, and veils being things that can be mentioned and exist, but can’t be shown "on screen."

The psyche roll is for the action. And yes, it may seem like a downgrade, but I think the main bonus is actually in how it scales up your Sin so that certain actions are now possible or certain difficult actions are now simpler. Your sin will be able to tackle higher category things with that action with less difficulty. Also, as you scale up, your PSYCHE will quickly grow, to the point where it will actually be a huge benefit to be able to use Psyche instead of a bad skill.
One last thing: there is an optional supplemental system for CAIN involving Virtues, a group of elite exorcists that serve as mentors and/or aspirations for the characters. You can form a bond with a certain virtue, eventually gaining access to a small fraction of their power, essentially giving you a weird unique blasphemy. If people are interested in using this system, lemme know.

Given the setting,I think I don't have any lines and veils to note at the moment,but I have no problem complying with everyone else's. Seems like the kind of thing to review at the start of each hunt.
With that said,it seems like some of the Blasphemies I mention are also wanted by others,but it shouldn't be a problem if there's overlap in Blasphemy/agenda if we take different abilities,right?
It's not against the rules by any means, especially if there's a particular character you want to play, but I'd like to at least minimize overlap, partially just because I want to test how as many different blasphemies and agendas all play.
