Magnatite Beast

Torrek causes the overhang to crash down on the beast and it stumbles in the rubble. Guesclinbert divebombs with a solid blow on the beast. As a reflex it snaps out after Guesclinbert, grabs him in its jaws and thrash him around.

As it drops Guesclinbert you can see that there is very little fight left in the beast.

OOC:

Guesclinbert takes 10 damage, and then 13

spend 1 fear to stoplight the beast
Momentum - Reaction: When the Magnatite makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
gain 1 fear
Relentless (2) - Passive: The Magnatite can be spotlighted up to two times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.

Talin flies over to Guesclinbert and positions himself between the goblin and the beast.

"Looks like it's almost down. Let's finish him before the rest of those mosquitoes catch wind."

Daedale moves quickly closer to the beast and as he does he transforms himself, slowly the fungal man take the form of a wolf. Moss on its back and teeth growling. Him, in wolf form, pounces on the back of the beast biting at a limb.

OOC:

Mark one stress to BeastForm again. Pack Predator, gives advantage to attack.

Magnatite Beast

Torrek swings his warhammer into the beast's knee, keeping it off balance and stumbling, while Daedale in wolf form jumps in and gets a solid bite on the jugular. The exhausted beast lies on the ground, and suddenly you can feel how all the blades that have been dropped around you shiver as the beast is pulling in the metal. But before they have built up any momentum, Vethalia sends flames into the beast's open wounds and then every blade falls down.

Stillness fills the battlefield. Only the sound of pebbles dropping down from the rocks after the collapse of the overhang can be heard.

Giant mosquitoes

And the buzzing of more than a hundred giant mosquitoes, of course. The smell of blood has lured the mosquitoes out of their tower.
They crowd around Vethalia, but she is too quick to get stung. But Baedale is not so lucky

"I don't recall inviting these little blood suckers!" Vethalia shouts as she dodges away from the swarm. Once more there's a crackle and a snap as a glowing card materializes between her fingers for an instant before being replace by a ball of glowing magical force.

The diminutive goblin winds up and tosses the ball at the swarm attack attacking her.

Torrek will grab a larger one of the many blades the beast rained down upon them, and -- ignoring the mosquitos -- begin working to remove the actual head.
"Once I have what we came for, perhaps we can flee and leave these pests to their meal!"

"We're after the giant metal headed monster." Vethalia points out swatting at some of the smaller mosquitos. "So the bugs have got to go. Besides, don't you want to know if any of the weapons and armor metal head collected ate magical?"
