@Eltesla, I think it would be interesting if you rolled for that augment, risking the exhaustion penalty but also having the chance for a larger bonus on the rest of the battle. I'll be writing my post now and holding off your part of the narration until you do it.

Since Chimera won by 1 degree last round and is now using the effect of that to benefit her next action, she gets a +10 bonus - which doesn't help much, unless she puts some more points on her petalframe's keyword or add a breakout under it (E. g. air canon).

I'll go ahead and use 4 improvement points, good time to make it a round number lol.

I was considering Assisting the Abenanka+Shizuka duo to reduce the RP scored against the duo. But with the new attack unfolding, I'm no longer sure. I'll have to think.

Abenanka will carry me, no worries! Maybe Shizuka needs more time to sync with the petalframes since she's not magical and she treats them rough. :P

Are you sure you two will be fine? Because there is 3 RP against you.

My options are currently mostly:

1. Assist the duo, reducing the RP scored against them. That's probably rather reliable the first time it is done, but does not bring victory closer.
2. Join your pair and hope to take out your enemy before the enemy can score against you/us.
3. Leave you to your own efforts, and focus on a different target (probably the big new boss).

I was initially inclined towards 1 for safety reasons, but if not, could perhaps go for 3.

Well, don't worry about the numbers and follow what your character would do. I don't know the exact rules for Sequences, but I want to say that if I rack up all 5 points by myself then only Shizuka should get blown up and not Abenanka/Homura (if you help).

All right, Shizuka seems to be doing better, hopefully Abenanka will get a chance to shine by finishing off the group after that. And thus Claude focuses on the biggest threat.

Silly goose, Chimera is clearly a cool and logical blue oni. Cool as in chunnibyou, and logical as in "if shamon, then apply extra chunnibyou". And her petalframe is blue!

By the way, I may have forgotten to tell that you can only gain an experience point for each of your abilities (lost contests) and flaws once per session (or chapter), my bad.

In that case, I already awarded Homura a XP in the last round for her hot-tempered flaw. At any rate, her Hero-Complex flaw is also applicable in this situation, I'd say.

If you (@Eltesla) go with applying a flaw though, I'd like you to add a roll to see if it hinders you (like a reverse augment roll, against the base resistance 10)
