Ugh, I talked with @Moyreau about being locked out of posting by my previous choice, and was told that I needn't worry and can react . . . or maybe I misunderstood. I'll check back.

The scene should be happening outside the first restaurant, where Shizuka and Chimera wouldn't be too far away (the scene of the attack was right next to it).

So . . . is my post OK as is, or does it need to be rewritten? Asking so explicitly to avoid misunderstanding.

Sorry I've been too busy to throughly read all the setting, gameplay, and mechanics information. I did skim the "genre pack" thread for character ideas. I am most interested in the Hua Mulan lineage with the Steel Lotus petalframe model. Has anyone else picked those yet?

Also, where can I see information on the other PCs? I'd like to create a character that could ideally fill in unused skills/background/etc.

Hana has left the campaign AFAIK though.

The lineage isn't taken by anyone, while the petalframes are all custom made by the players (which you're advised to do, even if you use one of those as a foundation).

It looks like nobody else has picked the Hua Mulan lineage so I will be the tank of the team! Fun fact: I had a giant poster of Disney's animated Mulan in my childhood bedroom. I have Chinese heritage so Mulan has always been my favorite Disney character and her real-life mythology is fascinating.

Anyway, I will cook on my tank character idea for a bit and share with everyone :)

Got it! I'll use the models as inspiration to customize it to my character. I'll probably flavor it with elements tied to Mulan's mythology.

We could make custom petalframes?! Man between that and the magic powers I really messed up. 😂

I second that question! Also because I didn't find its description on her sheet. Ideally you'd write down in a short paragraph everything the frame is capable off (omitting whatever any other generic frame could do). That basically amounts to building a frame, or a custom lineage (like Claude's)

It's the Steel Lotus, which is why it says "Steel Lotus" in the skill. :P

But if I can make a custom one I will write something for the idea I had, nothing mechanically will change since I wasn't RPing the frame with armor or canons anyway.

Well, the mechanics basically amount to the description of characters/things, so it is relevant; so feel free to build whatever you want!

Updated my sheet's "Steel Petal Dossier" section and also added a blurb about Shizuka's petalframe. Went for something more support related since I think we have the powerful abilities covered pretty well.
