Let's take a minute to review the Community Guidelines and take a step back. If a discussion starts creating tension, we don't all have to agree with each other, then please take it into a private conversation if you wish to continue it.

Found this interesting thread while browsing the reactions and actual play reviews of V6, which ppl might find germaine to this discussion:

Hunger Poll

TLDR: 70% of white wolf reddit readers like the Hunger mechanic, but you can read the dislikes of Blood Pool fans within.

In light of this warning and point 8 of the guidelines, I think I have no better option but to leave the last two posts unreplied-to. (I have concerns that turning this private will exacerbate the complications encountered in this subthread, and thus am disinclined to make that jump.)

Thanks for the reminder Psybermagi. As the thread owner I'm calling out the difference between discussing a topic, and commenting on the person posting about the topic. Let's have none of the latter.

We'll also end the specific discussion on V5 vs V20 and prior regarding their differences and player preferences. Thank you vicky_molokh and emsquared for having covered those issues.

We can still talk about V6, if anyone wants to, can I ask you start a V6 discussion in General Chat? That keeps the discussion fresh and focussed, and avoids the bloat of this too-long thread.

I wonder how much their new mod team affected this number.

Is there a point in making a new thread? This one is still alive, kicking and has been modified to be an all encompassing WoD chatter thread. Feels appropriate to chat about new edition (or even argue about discuss the old ones) in here.

Hey, Lazarus gang! Did you guys managed to get dice rules to work for WoD? Does it only flag 1s or 6 and above or does it respond to different difficulties? Can you share the code please?

Also, I think there was an attempt to make V5 dice rules. Did that get anywhere? If there are working cases then it'd be nice to add them both here and in the custom dice rules thread. Cheers!

I've been meaning to start a new WoD game for some time now, but with so many ideas it's a bit of a struggle. The one I keep coming back to is a "Montreal by Night" game based on the homonymous book. For those who don't know, it is a Sabbat citybook, which dives into their brand of cursed living head first, without shying away from pretty much anything. So I guess this is a soft interest check - not for Vampire or Montreal as a city - but for that sort of mood and themes - brooding, deeply dark and disturbing, with an open window into the world of awful and divine. I'm also curious if anyone ran or played in a game like that, especially with strangers. Any advice on the matter would be appreciated.
