Chapter 3: Thistletop

Reluctantly, Grim relents and slams the maul down inches from Lyrie. "No funny business." he growls at her.

Taking out some cloth and rope from his bag, "What else can you tell us about this place and Nualia? Defenses, movement, numbers?" As he starts to tie her up, roughly at first "The more you say, the gentler I'll be."

Chigaru walk down the hallway and see a long hallway to the east leading to another door. This more nondescript.

Meanwhile downstairs Lyrie holds out her hands to be tied. "There's a trap in the hallway to the east," she says. "Nualia is in the door to the left. She has some Yeth Hounds at her side, the rest loiter upstairs."

Seeing that most of you probably don't know about Yerh hounds she starts explaining. "They're like some devilish jackals. Given to Nualia by Lamashtu. They are clever hunters, that love to attack from the dark. Their senses can hear you long before you can hear them. They can release a terrible howl that can scare the hardiest adventurer." You see Lyrie shiver as she mentions the howl.

"Can be heard througout the complex. You will have to move quickly once you engage, as it will bring all her allies in short order. Don't know if you met Orik and Bruthazmus above."

At the mention of Bruthazmus you can sense Shalelu tense up. "He's actually here," she mutters, looking back up to the stairs.

Chigaru is able to return back to the room without the murals without anyone hearing him.

Meanwhile downstairs Lyrie sighs. "Guess in the interest of keeping my life I should warn you about the Tentamort upstairs to the east. Avoid them and they will avoid you."

"To the south on this floor there is some undead shadows. We couldn't control them, so we've mostly avoided them as well."
