OOC Conversation

I'm going to be traveling the next few days, coming back on Tuesday (Oct. 21). I'll try to keep up with posting but wanted to let you both know in case I'm lagging in my posts.

Welcome back. Another lucky roll means we've found the third objective, so after this, we can head back to the B&B and wrap up the chapter without further wandering of the waters. :)

Alright, time for Housekeeping. I applied tokens to journeys where appropriate, with tokens from those without tracks going towards Yazeba's journey. Some highlights:

Viv completes her track, and chooses a new name. One more track completion for her and she will have finished her journey.

Sherry completes her track. She must decide if she still has friends at the B&B. If so, she'll stay, and if not, she'll leave.

Amelie completes their journey. They must choose a new spare journey, the last one before they move on to the next overall step of their own journey.

@Redcroc the Ptsilith has 2 more tokens you may use to fill in its runes.

Sal completes his journey, and gets a new one: Frog-Life Crisis.

We hve 3 Square Mementos and 2 Circle Mementos. We should decide which Chapter we would like to play next. If we want to lean in to the fall vibes, we could do The Perfect Pumpkin. Or if we want to be spooky for Halloween, we could do Lost in the Cornmaze or All Hallow's Eve.

Oh, and do we want to try to recruit another player now that LS has left, or keep it just the three of us?

I think it's nicer with a 4th player, so I don't mind looking for another.

That was a fun chapter, though I felt like it dragged on a bit near the end. I kind of ran out of interesting things for all the different characters to do. Can you add to Muckleby's character sheet that she has Parish' Orichalcum blade? Might be fun for a future chapter.

I'm up for a Halloween chapter :)

As far as the next chapter, either of the Halloween ones sound good to me!

Let's play All Hallow's Eve! It's a short chapter, and a Quiet One, which works best for small groups. We'll play that one with just the three of us and then we can try to recruit a fourth player.

I've posted the details in its thread and added the Ghoul Gang to the Guests thread, who we can play as in this chapter and can permanently unlock if we successfully complete it. We'll need somebody to play them, as well as Gertrude and Hey Kid. I'll let you two pick first and then I'll choose whoever is left. :)

Using a Circle Memento unlock the chapter. We now have 3 Square Mementos and 1 Circle Memento available.

I don't really have a preference either. I haven't played Gertrude in a while, so maybe her?

We can keep the mementos in the bank for now, I guess :)

I'm not sure what to do now that I know the card value for Gertrude. Do I have to come up with a question?

@TheGenerator I edited my post to include the details of the cards' suit and value. The first draw is for your spiritual energies, so you can come up with an interpretation of what your card means in relation to that.

Then, Gertrude starts by asking a question from the list provided. She'll draw another card and interpret its suit and value as some sort of answer that is true for her. (Or she can choose to lie about what the card means t oher or act out in a way that challenges the magic with a Bingo or Whoopsie.)

I see. So with "Creativity, dreams, and magic. Introversion, self-reflection, seeking that Suit from within." I should write something like
Would that kinda be what we're looking for here?

And then I ask the spirits a question from the list and get a new card + interpret what that combination means again?

Heh, he actually played in this game a couple of years ago. He left because it wasn't really his style. I'm not sure if he'd want to come back or not. :D
