I happy to play anyone. Yazeba is always fun to play and I was looking at T.H.E.M. or Mel Larkin too.

Looks like there are some candidates for Yazeba, so I'll go with Mr. Boggs :)

oh wow these are pretty advanced already! And Gertrude is a witch! I'm definitely taking her then! :D
following Yazeba on her night witchy stuff so she can be a real witch too!

I've started the chapter, but don't feel rushed. I was just setting up the scene concerning Mr. Boggs.

Yes, we're coming up on our 2-year anniversary for this game next month. :)

Gertrude's been through quite a lot. She had to decide between pursuing magical power or trying to be a normal teenager and chose the former. She traded her heart to Monday for magical power and was cold and heartless like Yazeba for a while before Yazeba and some friends tracked down Monday and beat them at their own game to force Monday to give Gertrude her heart back. Now Gertrude is on her way to becoming a full-fledged witch of her own accord.

Thalanthalas does not want to play Yazeba, so @Redcroc can if they want to. Otherwise, I'll play Yazeba.

Feel free to make an introductory post like TheGenerator did once you've settled on your character. Once everybody has done so, I'll put up the grid and we can get into the mushroom hunt!

I am looking at Yola Oleander - I scrolled through the list a couple of times and just keep revisiting her sheet. Hopefully that works.

@Dmbrainiac You can play Yazeba this time and I'll go with T.H.E.M. for this round.

Yola is a great choice! She and Lady Sheridan are designed to play off one another. :)

Alright, Yazeba's post is up.

As written, Yazeba and Parish move on their own and all the other people in the group move as a single unit. But if we want, we can split things up a little bit. Perhaps Yazeba and Gertrude can move together, Parish can move with Mr. Boggs and T.H.E.M., and Lady Sheridan and Yola can move as a single unit.

How does play proceed? I've listened to one chapter of the game played. I understand there are different moods to change how you perform whoopsies and bingos.

Do I say a direction and you would reveal the card at the location? And it's up to the people travelling with me to play out a bingo in order to collect it?

That's exactly right!

This is technically an "Eerie" mood chapter, though the rules are different than the standard ones. So each group will take turns moving into the woods and flipping a card. I'll reveal what the card is and you can decide whether to keep going or stop and do a Bingo to collect the mushroom on that card. Once someone from the active group collects a mushroom, then the next group can go, and so forth until the chapter ends (hopefully without everybody getting lost in the woods!).

Anybody can perform Bingos and Whoopsies at any time during this chapter without impacting the rules.

Gotcha, and while there aren't specifically tokens for saying you must whoopsie before you can bingo, decisions should still be made appropriate to the character and tell an interesting story

I think these groups can even be changed later if we happen to be in connecting squares for extra mix up :)
Ah yes, whoopsies are strangely not useful for this one rules-wise, but they can still guide the PC's behaviour
