Since, for the moment, I am also wearing the hats of two of the PCs (Adran and Woody), I'm posting here as if I was their players to strategize:
How do you want to proceed? Both Woody and Adran are grappled. Either or both of them could use their actions to escape the grapple and move inside to help save the building/keep it from collapsing on Morik at the end of round three. But that would be their round two turn.
The argument for Woody staying to fight the mob is that he will get his extra 1d6 sneak attack damage this round. The argument against is that he can't take another hit like the last one. So if he stays, it would probably be best to go all-in on dealing as much damage to the mob as possible, to try to subdue it in this round.
The argument for Adran staying to fight the mob is that he is dealing +5 damage with his sky-high DEX, so the minimum damage he can deal on a hit is 6 points. The argument against is that he's only using a dagger, so the most damage he can contribute is 9 points like he did last turn; chances are it will be less. Maybe that isn't as worthwhile as trying to get away to help with the building.
Morik can save the building on his own, but to do so he would need to succeed on four rolls in two rounds (two Sleight of Hands and two Athletics) rather than the two Athletics he'd need with help from a friend. Or he could run out, help deal with the mob this round using his two attacks, and then, if the mob is defeated, everyone could run back in and shore up the supports together on round three.
What do you all think we should do as a group?
