Absences

I'm going under the knife tomorrow (Monday the 7th) for an infected gallbladder. My posting will be spotty, and I expect to be somewhat abbreviated for the next week or so. The doctors think I can return to work by Friday the 11th.
I will have loads of time, but headspace and clarity will be a different matter.
I don't know what to expect, so this is just a heads-up.

Good luck! Don't rush back to work if you can avoid it (and don't worry about posting when you're not feeling clear headed and up to it, it's even less important than work.)

I'll second what Bullseyepsa wrote. Just rest and heal.

I did not expect my shoulders to hurt so much. Apparently when your gusts are filled with air as a baloonanimal, some air is left behind. This air travels upwards in the body as get absorbed and breathed out, but until then, its stuck in my shoulder joints.
It hurts!
But I'm well and recovering, and is catching up with my postings today.

Laparoscopic surgery is an odd procedure that has a lot of unintended consequences but it WAY preferable to the old-school methods.

Will be away on holiday the coming week. Probably not post much this and next weekend while I travel, but I'll bring along a laptop so will try to keep up to date as much as I can on the weekdays.
