General OoC discussion

Well, the cynic in me says that we should let the bandits deal with the ownlbear as we fall back prudently, Amnestria’s distraction hopefully leading the creature away.

The thing is, Berthold is a knight. He’s vowed to defend the defenceless, to be brave in the face of difficult odds. It happens to be his character ideal too. He’s also just seen the bandits put their lives at risk (perhaps for the wrong reasons, but that is immaterial) to attack the creature.

In other words, it would be most shameful for him to retreat now, so against my better judgment, he’ll join Ben in attacking it in melee. He might survive a round if the creature splits its attacks, or misses once.
