Character GEAR

The gear lists I've looked at are pretty good. A "handi-comp", combination communicator and personal computer, is ubiquitous. Either worn on the wrist smart-watch style or hand-held like a phone or tablet. You can decide.

Weapons that are NOT on the old "Judges Guild" green screen GM-aid are a bit of a problem for me. Gauss Pistol and Laser Pistol, for examples. So make sure you have Classic Traveller compatable stats for these on your character sheets. You do not have to prepare a detailed possessions list. If its logical for your character to own something, then they do. The exception would be very high-price items or bulky items like Vacc-Suits. Your character almost surely relies on the ship's gear for that.

I would assume characters have a 'good' set of clothing appropriate to their SOC rating, including adornments, embellishments and jewelry. They likely have a 'casual' set, too. And some sturdy work clothes. Plus it is normal for a ship or expedition to provide some sort of 'uniform' which doubles as shipboard work attire.

What other things should be 'normal' as personal belongings (excluding weapons). I'll eventually list ship gear, arms locker, and "Ship's Locker" items later on as the need arises.

David - is it okay to post the equipment list to the character sheet or send it to you in a PM?
Or
Just post it here?

I would discourage posting the lengthy list you provided via pm here. Here you can post things that would be 'normal' for every character to have, or which should go into the Ship's Locker.

I made an adjustment on my character sheet.
