Hey tibbius, sorry for the delay I see everyone else is pretty much there.
Just a heads up, I am usually inactive on weekends and every other Friday.
Here's my character concept:
Posco Deepwell was a young Bree-land Hobbit of 37 years old. Living in Staddle for many generations now, the Deepwell family were share-croppers of the honorable Banks Hobbit-family and their pipe-weed farming on the sunny banks of Bree-hill.
As share-croppers the Deepwells were a poor family and looked down on by the Banks, and Brockhouses, and Tunnelys, and many other venerable Hobbit families. But they were well-liked nonetheless, as they were hard workers, honest and kind, and seemed to have a way with the plants.
Posco, the eldest son of the Deepwells, was much the same as his family's reputation with one notable exception... he never really was happy with the confines of the sharecropping-life.
Ever since he was allowed the freedom to go where he willed (within reason!) during his free-time, Posco would use it to go to the public houses in Bree and sit outside the windows and watch the Strangers and Outsiders come and go, and listen to their tales through the window. (And then when he was old enough to go inside, he would do that too!)
It was in those early days when he would start to press his Pa to be the one to take their crop to the market, where they would sell bundles of Leaf out of woven baskets.
Well it wasn't of course until he attained majority that he would let him do it, but by that time he had been shadowing his Pa for years and on the day after his 33rd summer, he took the bundles to market for the first time! Well, after that he began working on his Pa to let him take some of the harvest further afield, down the Greenway, where he promised his Pa he could get more coin!
In truth he had no idea if he could get more coin, but he did know that The Rest of the World was down the Greenway (or at least some of it).
And so... when he got that allowance from his Pa... down the Greenway he went!

Snori relates to Posco as a fellow businessman and appreciates his company, especially his supply of excellent pipe weed.
