To Psi or Not to Psi; that is a question!

I confess to having some negative feelings about Psionics in my Traveller games. Not entirely negative, just somewhat. I MIGHT go along with a Psionic character but with limitations. Feel free to discuss here.

I am okay with PSI and having PSI in the game as long as we keep to the Imperial setting. In a way it sort of helps with the mystery of certain things that can't be explained.

I’m ok with psi in a kinda simplified Carraday sense.

Limited psi is OK. It depends on the power. Telekinesis is cool, but mind reading can ruin an adventure.

Telepathy can be done where it doesn’t ruin everything. Impressions. Linking objects. It just depends. Personally, I like awareness…

I think we're pretty much "no psi" at this point. I think its a good way to "unbalance" the game unless handled very carefully. I'm not sure I'm up to that.

I'm late to the discussion, but, in my experience, psi only works with the right player. It's too easy to start with Anakin and get DV. Hey everybody :)
