Paused for a few months. Looking for brave adventurers who prefer 5e stats and mechanics, but still Tolkien-style journeys and low magic.

interested, is it 2014 or 2024 5e?

Adventures in Middle Earth is 5.0 with all classes, races and backgrounds removed and replaced with custom ones, that's what I remember. 4 classes similar to fighter, barbarian, rogue , ranger and two more for less armed fir combat characters. Is that right?

Two questions to @valentbr
- which of Seven adventures do you have in mind? Can you share The Pitch? I guess I have played one.
- what posting peace are you looking into. I am certainly not the player who can keep involved if story don't move forward at least twice a week.

Well I have the 2014 version but if 5e, I can research. The mechanics should not be much different

We have run bits of the road goes ever on with Balin. (laughter of Dragons) we are currently in Dale after leaving a sporting tournament. Would recommend running the straight set
1. Kinstrife & Dark Tidings
2. Of Leaves & Stewed Hobbit
3. Those Who Tarry No Longer
4. The Marsh-Bell / A Darkness in the Marshes (depending on edition/naming)
5. Don’t Leave the Path
6. The Crossings of Celduin
7. The Watch on the Heath

This sounds very cool and I would be very interested. I only have 2014 but could get the other also if needed. I have never played in Tolkien style adventure and would love to do so.

Really interested in this, 'cause I love DnD & LotR

Read the rulebook core book some time ago and liked the style, artwork and the middle-earth classes. On the negative side, what stuck with me: some feats/rules felt unbalanced (people from dale and elfs get a bow-feat, the elf is +2 to attack, the human one +1 and things like that).

Most likely I would play a messenger. The culture I am not sure. Maybe Dale, maybe Mirkwood, maybe Shire. *g*

What level would we start?

Postwise I could do two to three a week. I prefere posts longer than a single line or two. When we get into a fight a post every day, or every second day is okay as well. :)

Ready for an epic adventure. Does matter to me what version of 5e is being used. I can deal with it. Ready to trash though the tulips.
