@Kyvern welcome to this game, please start by rolling your PC ability scores
You will need to read this thread - a tutorial - to figure out how to do that
And create you first charactersheet - a fake one just to get used to site
Next this is to read this thread and this post for current party composition to decide what character do you want to play
By the way, let me know your level of experience with PHB 2024 - have you played any game with DM knowing the new rules well and strictly following them?

@GreyWord Thank you for the invitation. I haven't played PHB 2024. I'm just familiar with D&D in general from years ago. But I'm going through it and should be able to pick up enough along the way. I also started going through the tutorials. I wasn't sure about how the creation works, if it is done within this thread? I'll test things out to see.

Just a note that we are playing based on 2024 system version and you may discover some things changed, but I will try to always point out players to latest rules when I'm using feature that is different in 2024 compared to 2014

I'll keep these rolls. I'm working on a cleric, though I won't necessarily optimize all the stats.

Character looks good. Approved. I may find time later this week to take a better view at it. Will maybe spot some gap.
Now please test some combat dice rolling in tutorial thread and read the last events of game thread. I do not plan giving you a spotlight of entrance, instead we will assume Kaelynn have been around the party all the time. You are there in front of a bridge or maybe come late while ritual is performed because some prayer delayed you.
Feel free to post your PC actions if any - before all 5 of you step on the bridge.

@Kyvern I guess this would be a great moment to say that Kaelynn who were lagging behind the rest of the party for one reason or another finally reach the bridge and hear Atticus suggesting to ... abandon the quest - or at least that's how she hear/understand that from the distance
Please post your PC reaction and action - just an idea - maybe your cleric would have sufficient self-confidence, or perhaps she has consulted with her deity and believe that crossing the bridge right now is just a test of your willpower: whichever the reason I am begging you to lead the party over the bridge to prevent story from hanging
