What's up gamers? It's ya boi, Thor.
I'm here because TTRPGs and roleplaying in general are genuine passions of mine (read: addictions), and I would really love to find ways to add a little more of both into my everyday (read: dripfeed myself with it every day so I don't get withdrawals). As a father of 3 little girls, making time for weekly live games is next to impossible, so I think PbP is the perfect solution.
As for my pedigree, I've been roleplaying in some form or another for just about as long as I can remember; I got my start RPing on a PbP-style forum almost 20 years ago, I've been very active in certain MMO RP communities, and I've played a LOT of Tabletop. Like I would imagine is the case for most people these days, most of my experience comes from Dungeons & Dragons. I'm a 4e baby, but 5e is where I've racked up most of my played hours. That's not to say I'm exclusively interested in D&D, I've tried and enjoyed plenty of other systems-- particularly 13th Age, PbtA and Pathfinder 2e-- and I'm always open for new experiences.
Throughout my "career" if you can call it that, I've probably written multiple novels worth of RP. The quality of this writing can be perhaps be questioned, but my passion for- and engagement with roleplaying throughout the years has always been very strong. I've been a forever DM these last few years and I know the kind of effort that goes into writing and running a campaign for people. You can be sure that as a player, I'll engage with your writing and your world, as well as the other characters in the party.
I'm crossing my fingers for some peeps out there looking for a +1.
Take it sleazy, and have a good one.
