So with Slane having already gotten out of the cage, she doesn't need to make a saving throw, right? Sorry, with like thirty different characters all doing things, it's really hard for me to keep track of what exactly is happening.

That’s right. Anyone already out of the cage does not have to roll because they aren’t being bounced around against the hot metal and stinky bodies inside the cage as it falls down toward the lava beds.

Well, thx so much. I’ve played games here for years but only run a couple.
I’m tracking as best I can to spread the action and consequences around, but the dice are doing a good job of that already.
I’m also trying use gender neutral pronouns unless you provided gender in your character thread posts.

I'm a little confused about the rules. A luck check is d20 roll under luck if I'm understanding right, so wouldn't rolling a d16 actually just improve your odds and thus be counterproductive?

You are exactly right. The timing of my call for Luck checks right after announcing the penalty was the confusing part. The penalty only applies to actions. Luck checks should have been made at d20. Some were, some were not. I chose to let it be, but I should have explained it. Thx for asking for clarification.
