Okay. Since it looks like 6 will be starting, I’ll just let you keep your pod of four peasants each and I won’t hold back on the deadly. The herd will thin. As long as everyone has one survivor, all will be well.
My favorite thing about DCC (besides the magic system) is this aspect of what they call "emergent backstory".

FYI, I Asked the GM what Funnel scenario we played a few months back: it was Portal under the stars.

Okay all! Feel free to name your PCs with as much seriousness that you’d name a pen of pigs set to become food. I’m off to pickup my parents from the airport. I’ll post our first kickoff post in the game thread later tonight.
The RP gist in the funnel experience is to act as though you literally have no skill or interest in glory; only survival. So, turn off the smartest part of your brain that knows about traps and surprise attacks and just go on pure instinct.
Oh, and at zero level, dead is dead.
And a reminder for any that haven’t played much DCC, if you die with Luck intact, you might be doing it wrong.
