Recruitment Thread - D6 Star Wars (OLD)

No character sheets have been sent my way so far, nor has any character ideas been discussed.

Overall, I'm still waiting to fill 3 more spaces before I can shift focus to character creation and game start. Recruitment will be closed after all four party members are found.

Is it possible to change the title of the post from interest check to something like accepting applications. Maybe people aren't realizing it's open?

Sure! I was thinking of making a Kyle Katarn type so that would kinda fit.

As long as you aren't a bounty hunter. Kelar HATES bounty hunters with a passion.

I'm sure you could find a middle ground. Party cohesion, and all that.

I'd love to play if there's still a spot available! I'm thinking maybe a droid character, if that works.

In the interest of party cohesion, I would be willing to tone back his hatred of bounty hunters, but he will still treat them rudely.

At the moment, I've only received one official application for the game (aRePiiGee), though WhtKnt has voiced interest. I'll be accept four players.

But before I finalise anyone's place in the game, I'd want them to confirm that they've read, and are happy with, everything listed on the Details page (game info, posting expectations, character creation guidelines).

That would be for the best. Wouldn't feel right to immediately veto an entire career path/background for other players by having your own character hate their lifestyle to the degree where they would 100% not work with them, or worse.

Found the sheet. I've only managed to have a cursory check, but it looks like your Dexterity is higher than the Wookiee maximum, and you had 18D+1 in attributes rather than 18D. I also think your skill dice totals 20D rather than 21D.

Would also like to know more about his background. Most Wookiees come from Kashyyyk, so it would be good to know how Kelar differs from the others.

Please note though guys that this isn't first come, first serve. I'll want to check over character sheets, and confirm agreement with Posting Expectations, before I determine intake, rather than get started and find out that what I'm after and what the players are expecting don't mix.

Hmmm. I'll look into the issues. I followed the wookie template for the attributes, so I'm not sure how that happened. I will expand his background.

Wookiee minimum/maximums are as follows:

DEXTERITY 1D/3D+2
KNOWLEDGE 1D/2D+1
MECHANICAL 1D/3D+2
PERCEPTION 1D/2D+1
STRENGTH 2D+2/6D
TECHNICAL 1D/3D+1
