Greetings, Earth Creatures!

Experienced PbP roleplayer here, been out of the game a while but looking to get back into it.

I got my start with role playing games via a hand-me-down rules manual from the old D&D red box (just the book, the dice were long gone), had to immediately start playing anyway just using d6's, but my brothers and I were off to the races! It was magic.

I'm sure the landscape has changed quite a bit. A good chunk of my online RP was freeform storytelling; more recently I'm looking to pick up a lightweight system that flows well for PbP style play, will probably try running a couple of Freeform Universal games.

Kinda burnt out on D&D and all its various editions these days but the lethality of the old school dungeon crawl still calls out to me. More recently I've been looking at Knave and Cairn as well as focusing on solo specific engines like Loner, Ironsworn, and NoteQuest.

Looking forward to see what I can get into here. I think I'll stay a while and listen...

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I posted a test game, feel free to poke around in there and point out any necessary details I may have missed. I admittedly didn't specify the 'how to apply' section from the 'how to write a recruitment' but that's more because I don't yet know how the application process works here on GP.

I can't imagine not being fine with letting people fill in the blanks and just drop the text into an OOC post but feel free to walk me through the process if there are other expectations.
