What kind of werewolf are you? (WtA)

Hi all! I took the werewolf persona quiz recently to figure out my tribe and auspice. I got Hart Warden galliard, which I vibe with. But as I was reading the W5 splat, I felt drawn more to Black Fury theurge.

The differences interested me. Hart Warden made sense because I care a lot about cultivating community spaces. And galliard made sense since I'm very interested in history (especially oral history)--at the same time, I'm not a performer, I'm very awkward and like being in the background.

I'm a practicing animist and communicate/give offerings to ancestor spirits, pretty intuitive, read tarot cards etc., so theurge felt right. Furthermore, Black Furies value justice highly at all costs, and that's what I tend towards.

Anyways enough about me--I'd love to hear others' results, if they agree with them, if they feel a different Werewolf tribe and/or auspice fits better, etc.

Take the quiz here, and tell me your thoughts!

Get of Fenris, Theurge / gode. That or Philodox / judge

My astrological sign is Deinonychus

This is surprisingly accurate. Bravo to the maker of the test.

I have next to no knowledge of the source material, but I do love quizzes. :D
[ +- ] Quiz Result
I enthusiastically agree with the first part, but mostly disagree with the second. History is very much not my field, and neither is the law. Must've chosen too many arbitrary answers. :'D But I do like technology, so I approve the other half!

And for personal choice, glancing at the abridged descriptions of clans, I think I vibe with Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, Fianna, Glass Walkers and maybe Stargazers? Either of those. Probably Gaia because pacifism and plants.
As for auspices, I guess Ragabash? Just because it sounds like it has the fewest requirements and isn't very physical or spiritual. XD I won't fail at that too hard.

But yeah, I have no idea about Werewolf, so I might be very off here. ๐Ÿ˜…
(Just in case, I did edit out a part of this post because I veered off-topic about WoD. Bet no one saw it, but you know; leaving a note for posterity.)

Hart Warden Ahroun
Hart Wardens serve Gaia by expanding, cultivating, and protecting their territory and that of their pack, offering hospitality to those who ask it of them, fiercely settling accounts for any abuses of that hospitality. Their Patron Spirit is Stag.

The role of the ahroun is that of the warrior: to take the challenge to the enemy and meet them head-on or, otherwise, to deliver unto that enemy their deserved fate.
Honestly, it makes sense to me. I'm often most in-line with my characters when I play a guardian role. Not at all familiar with this game, but was a fun quiz!

Tagging @Morphling in this since she expressed interest in WtA!

Bone Gnawer Ragabash
Bone Gnawers serve Gaia by hiding in plain sight and digging up dirt, discovering the secrets others leave discarded amid their detritus. Their Patron Spirit is Rat.

The role of the ragabash is to question authority, challenge unexamined tradition, and even mock that which is worthy of derision โ€” a highly subjective topic.

Yeah that's fair.

Heh, Bone Gnawers is exactly right for me. Philodox was a surprise.

Black Fury Ragabash
Black Furies serve Gaia by opposing injustice and perceived injustice, but they have a reputation for escalating their pursuit of justice into vengeance. Their Patron Spirit is Gorgon.

The role of the ragabash is to question authority, challenge unexamined tradition, and even mock that which is worthy of derision โ€” a highly subjective topic.

That tracks with me, I do rage at injustice.

Thanks for everyone who responded with their results!!

I'm traveling out of the country to visit family, so my own responses are slow. But I'm enjoying reading everyone's results.

Philodox isn't a huge stretch for someone who GMs multiple games, I would think. Arbitrating and rendering judgment for the Garou might be similar to making rulings and playing the role of referee for your players!

@FlyingSucculent I appreciate that you replied even if you're not familiar with WtA!

I get what you mean, I also disagreed with the auspice I received in the quiz (galliard). I love performance, especially with cultural significance, but I'm not very good at performing. Maybe one day I'll have the confidence to be a galliard...

I'm pretty interested in the Stargazers too! They're not a playable clan in the 5th (newest) edition of the game. But I do wonder what's up with them.

I think that's a very ragabash sort of answer!

Hell yes, another Black Fury! I think the Gorgon is a pretty sick patron spirit. ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ

Maybe you're an interpretive kind of galliard. ๐Ÿค” Performing not in the sense of practical performance like dance, or song, or poetry, but something more akin to performing in casual conversation and inspiring others through communication. Hey, this thread might just be you channeling a part of you that's a galliard! :O

...that was a very amusing (un?)intentional pun. You're really sure you're not a galliard?

Nice! I shall now know whom to play if I ever do play Werewolf. XD

Silver Fang Ragabash
Silver Fangs serve Gaia through inspiration, leadership, and nobility as a self-styled aristocracy among the Garou. Their Patron Spirit is Falcon.

The role of the ragabash is to question authority, challenge unexamined tradition, and even mock that which is worthy of derision โ€” a highly subjective topic.

I don't know that I agree. I'm a leader by necessity, not by nature. No doubt Ragabash is spot-on, however.
