I have a family member who is quite ill, so my posting might not be so regular. Want to keep playing, but also want people to know.

You head down the path and Benford passes on that Goblins have traveled this path many times...and one or two Lizardmen.

I suppose I should just roll tracking every time we go to a new area, yeah?

Benford makes sure that there are no razor-toothed animals lying in wait this time, and carefully traces the path left by their foes.

Benford finds an unusual situation. Fresh goblin tracks. He follows them. They lead down a parallel path, though very narrow. He almost stumbles onto a small reddish figure ahead. He crouches low and sees a red skinned Goblin. The creature has not seen him yet.

Biscuit whispers: "I always like to kill goblins, but maybe we should capture and question?"

Goblin is never alone Mole prefers to kill this one
Jul 3, 2026 3:31 pm
Varos will listen then look to Benford"Can you tell if it is alone? Capture and question then exterminate would be a good option. Information would be valuable."
Jul 3, 2026 4:06 pm
Mole nods silently, but takes step back is if to say "I'm not doing that".

Dwarf thinks to himself question then exterminate, huh... this one is really evil, but what did I expect from an Elf, huh. He can imagine shooting an arrow at the goblin from distance, but can't imagine cutting a throat to a humanoid who surrender himself, especially after that humanoid have been cooperative enough to share valuable info.

Benford thinks for a moment. He hadn't considered that Goblins would be capable of giving up useful information. Devious for sure, but also cunning and exciting. He nods to Varos. "I'll grab one" he whispers.

Benford approaches quietly, slowly crawling through the brush. In a flash he rises up and engulfs the red-skinned goblin in his swampy cloak, clamping his hand over the goblin's as he wrestles him back down into the brush. From there he will try to bring him a safe distance back to the party.

Fortunately for Benford, there is only one Goblin. He squeals as he is bagged and struggels to escape. Benford brings him to the party, tightly wrapped in the cloak.

Benford proudly displays his catch to the party.
He looks to Varos for approval, then kneels in front of the prisoner. He places his hands on the goblin's shoulders and begins shaking him.
"Now, tell us what you know, you swine! At once!" he intones, doing his best to sound intimidating.
