You continue North towards Fanetide. The muddy road through the marsh eventually gives way to a series of slightly elevated plank streets. They form a winding latticework between several small huts made of thin wood, roofed in reeds or wooden panels.
A few flat-bottomed boats can be seen moving about in the shallow causeways between these huts, and several human locals mill about, most of them wearing high, mud-spattered boots.
At the center of the village is a large open pavilion ringed in netting, with a straw roof where several members of the community are gathered. The shared conversations carry in the open air, a comfortable muttering of sound.
A single stone building stands near this outdoor tavern, built on rock pylons. This building has a pair of heavy wooden doors that are thrown open to the public. The image of a fist holding a spear aloft is carved into the stone above the doors.
