Howdy!

Hey, folks!

I've been trying to get back into play-by-post and Harrigan turned me on to this place.

Recently I haven't been able to play as much as I'd like, so I thought to do some pbp but haven't had a lot of luck. I've joined some games through various Discords but they've all crashed out, leaving me with just enough of a taste to know I want more. I've made three attempts so far over the past few months. The first one lasted about a month, then the GM got too busy with real life. The second one, the GM ghosted everyone after five or six days. The most recent one lasted maybe twice as long as the second before the GM decided they were in over their head and canned it.

I've been in the hobby since middle school. I cut my internet teeth doing free-form roleplay in chat rooms and message boards way back in middle school. The first proper game I bought with my own money and ran was Legend of the Five Rings back in high school.

Stuff I've played a decent amount of: DnD, Pathfinder, CoC, Pendragon

Stuff I've run a decent amount of: L5R, DnD, FFG's 40k, One Ring, Pendragon

Stuff I've played/run semi-recently: Delta Green, Mutant Year: Zero, Pendragon, various one-shots

I'm looking forward to finding a game and sticking around!

Welcome to the community, Scotchy_McBourbon! Glad you found your way in and weren't scared off by the video Sean and I made. Someone will be along shortly with some links to help you get oriented, join the supporting Discord, etc.

Great collection of games. I've been jonesing hard for more Pendragon action...

Welcome

I've been in love with Pendragon since my regular table discovered it a few years ago! I don't want to bite off more than I can chew to start, but it's the first thing I'd want to run here when/if I'm able to do so.

Thanks for the info, Doc!

Welcome to GP!

Welcome! Hope you find a game to completion soon!

Welcome :)

Welcome! Hope you find some long-lasting PbP games here! It's true that while we have plenty of solid runs, many spanning years of play, there's also a hefty list of half-played, semi-abandoned ones, for various reasons. Nonetheless, the enthusiasm still runs strong here with lots of new action.

Welcome!
