Bohdie's eyes were glued to the sensors display, watching what the creature did as they rose. When the returns began to fade, anyone looking at Bohdie would see a level of stress dissipate from his face, the only sign that he was unnerved by the potential of being swallowed and, worse, being dragged down below crush depth. He acknowledged JEEM and Wilbur, "Thank you both for responding so quickly. I take it you both saw the sensor returns. It was certainly a curiosity, something that, as far as I know, has not been catalogued as yet." His long, slender fingers dance across the console like a fine pianist playing a concerto. Then he hands a data crystal to Wilbur. "For referencing and cataloging. But, if you will, see if you can identify what might have drawn the creature to us. I do not belief that it was just our presence." Bohdie pauses a beat. "Wilbur... first get some sleep." When JEEM and Wilbur leave, He turns to Edrin and says, "The bridge is yours. I am going to see if Amara could use my help in Engineering."
