Joe Harlow
JOCELYN
"MacLearan farm?" He says in surprise. He pushes his hat back and squints down the road ahead.
"That's a couple miles from here."
He looks at her for a moment, appearing to calculate how to respond to his concern. He comes to some conclusion and shrugs.
"Well." He says, patting the seat beside him.
"Climb on in."
Tacked to the back of his sun visor is an old photograph, yellow with age. It shows a younger version of the driver, arm around a girl of perhaps seven or eight, both of them caught mid-laugh. Pressed in close on his other side is a pretty young woman with her head resting on his shoulder, smiling at the camera.
He doesn't acknowledge it. It's just something Jocelyn notices as she assesses the situation.
"I'm heading into town for supplies. I can drop you off on the way, no trouble." He tips his hat.
"Name's Joe Harlow." He says with a smile that lights up his wrinkled, sun-baked face.
OOC:
Joe appears friendly and polite. Jocelyn gets a good feeling that she's run across a nice, old farmer that she can trust.
