Swish is more human raised Elf and has no bad intentions toward Dwarves unlike many classic Elves. She is not at all stuck up or haunty and is in fact very social. She does call you by "Blu" all the time. She is 5'2". How tall is Blu? Do you know 'Orc' to go with Swish's 'Goblin' covering the possible races majorly in the game?

I actually had Blu pinned at 4’2", so Swish is exactly a foot taller than he is.
Bluadin invites all his friends to call him Blu, so he’d welcome that endearment from Swish. He’s customarily gruff, as a dwarf, so he’ll often be short on patience or perhaps rude, to everyone, but his bark is worse than his bite. :)

Being an armor crafter Blu, you should like Swish's Masterwork Studded Leather as it is a quality job. Although Swish is rogue, she is very much fighter like (Swashbuckler) as she fights with two rapiers normally and prone to flank (gain sneak attack) with you. She also tends to use COMBAT EXPERTISE to gain a +2 AC at a cost -2 to hit. LOL on top of her -2 to hit from two weapon fighting. She guards those dear 13 HP she has.

Hello Everyone!
Someone is probably going to ask this so it might as well be me, since my favourite type of character is multiclass spellcasters; is the whole game strictly PHB or are you open to prestige classes, feats or spells from official books? More than happy to provide references for anything I use (book and page).
I have players plan out their path to a prestige class, I do it this way so players new to 3.5 aren't overwhelmed and can see the baby steps experienced players make on that journey
Well, I have my eye on a Monk/Wizard/Enlightened Fist (Complete Arcane p.34-36). There are several possible feats to support this, but let’s see what attributes I have to work with… (edit) not great, arguably worse than the standard array.
[note="Monk/Wizard/Enlightened Fist"]
Enlightened Fist (Complete Arcane p.34-36) combines some advancement in monk abilities with arcane casting. The build is versatile but very MAD (Multi-Attribute Dependent). The entry requirements are as follows:
Skills: Concentration 8 ranks, Knowledge (arcana) 5 ranks, Spellcraft 5 ranks.
Feats: Combat Casting, Improved Unarmed Strike, Stunning Fist.
Spells or Spell-Like Abilities: Arcane caster level 3rd.
Earliest entry is 6th level (because of the skill ranks required). Helpfully, both Concentration and Knowledge (arcana) are Monk class skills. Of the Feats, all come from the PHB; only Combat Casting is not provided by Monk 1, and that is a general feat without prerequisites.
For a human, my proposed build is Monk 2, Wizard 3, Enlightened Fist 5+.
Early level Feat selections:
1: Carmendine Monk (Champions of Valor p.28). This reduces MAD by replacing Wis with Int as the principal driver of some Monk abilities, and enabling a selective boost in one monk ability. The flavour text requires the character to be a member of the Zealots of the Written Word, an order of monks who follow Denier, NG god of scribes, so I would take a rank in Profession (scribe) and am constrained to a LG character alignment accordingly.
1 (Human bonus): Combat Casting, rationalised as the character having trained in both Concentration and Knowledge (arcana) as a monk in deliberate preparation for wizardry. (Enlightened Fist prerequisite)
3: Knowledge Devotion (Complete Champion p.60). This allows a character to gain combat bonuses against monsters by rolling against applicable Knowledge skills (basically the character has studied certain types of monsters and so has a better understanding of how to defeat them), which fits with the angle of an order of scribes who collect written knowledge. Synergises nicely with the Collector of Stories skill trick (Complete Scoundrel p.85) which can be acquired for 2 skill points around level 4 (give or take depending upon other skill needs).
6: Practiced Spellcaster (Complete Divine p.82). Given a minimum number of ranks in Spellcraft, this boosts caster level only for spells by four, but not above the character’s total HD. Without providing extra spells, it increases the power of spells the character otherwise has. Arguably available at 3rd level in this build, but I think it’s a bit of a cheek to call oneself practiced as a 1st level caster.
9: Arcane Strike (Complete Warrior p.96). Burn a castable spell from memory to boost combat abilities for a round.
Beyond Enlightened Fist 5 there are several options; the default is to continue through Enlightened Fist to EF10 and then go into Master Specialist and/or Archmage; other possibilities include Argent Savant (I have some fondness for force-type effects), Rainbow Savant, or even a level of Swordsage to then qualify for Jade Phoenix Mage. Frankly, if the game runs that long I’ll decide later![/note]
accepted but needs to be on a sheet

Being Elven does post a problem of no infravision as low-light doesn't aid sometimes. GM: At the cost of 50gp (Component Cost), may I have the spell 'Continual flame' casted on my hooded lantern to never have to have oil?
[ +- ] Continual Flame
I think this question was lost someplace.

Fine, but in exchange (addition to the 50 gp), the lamp goes dark for 4 hours every 24 hr. period.

Hp rolls

Edit: First draft character submitted. I may change his name yet. Also looking over alternate class features (thanks for the tip @WanderOne!) as this build has no tremendous use for a familiar…
I have started listing basic equipment, still have to do magic (including buying a few additional spells, most likely). Will include references for what I buy.

Well. Ready or not Swish is done. This egg eating Elf ready to take on the dungeon. She is rather unhappy being in a dungeon.

Just pointing out that the original recruitment thread included:

" Task: You are in a dungeon, you do not know how deep or how large it is. You do know that you need to escape and that you're being hunted. You have your equipment a +1 weapon and either a +1 Heavy hield OR a+2 Ring of Protection. no other magic besides potions."
Sarge1967 says:
Max HPs 1st. roll 2nd & 3rd level minimum half.
Max starting gold for class
1,000 gp for magic.
I have completed Brother Lam assuming that the quote from this thread was meant in addition to the line in the recruitment thread, so he has a +1 weapon, a +2 RoP, and 1000gp worth of magic including a single minor item, a handful of arcane spells, and a couple of healing potions. I have assumed that ‘max. starting gold’ is the figure for level 1 (20gp for a monk) not the wealth-by-level which I think is 2700gp for a 3rd level character. If it is important that I revise this (e.g. by exchanging the item for spell scrolls and potions) please say so.

Ouche. I need to readjust my equipment. Seems I made an error here. :(

Note: Fixed ... 160 gp of gear including coins & 1000 gp of Potions. That is with a +1 Rapier & +2 Ring of Protection

What is the level 6 gold and magic numbers?

(Hopes to upgrade my armor from leather. Thinking some masterwork studded leather is cool.)
