Hi all. I'm excited to get the WH40K feeling again.
I can probably use my Ratling Sniper - PC from previous game just need to erase memorable wounds and what not, but If it is allowed this time I would rather build a space marine instead.

While I would love to hear the backstory on the Space Marine who ended up on what is basically akin to a space borne scrapyard Tier 2 is too low for a Space Marine. They don't come in until tier 3.

I’ve seen mention of both tier 2 and 3. Which is it?

Tier and Rank are two different measurements.

What about a Space Marine Scout at Tier 2, ascending to Space Marine?

I missed the scout. So yeah you can play a scout. Best option would be attached to the Astropath since the Imperium actually cares a bit about them.

I have ended up with a big, burly Kroot warrior who gets up in the enemy's face and hacks them to death with a Kroot Rifle.

In this story Ratling will fit better than scout. And I can make him fit about the same role in the team
