Hi all. I'm excited to get the WH40K feeling again.
I can probably use my Ratling Sniper - PC from previous game just need to erase memorable wounds and what not, but If it is allowed this time I would rather build a space marine instead.

While I would love to hear the backstory on the Space Marine who ended up on what is basically akin to a space borne scrapyard Tier 2 is too low for a Space Marine. They don't come in until tier 3.
Hello all! Interesting cast we have so far. I quickly mocked up a Death Cult Assassin in the character generator while I remain blessed with ignorance of the rules.
Could someone with more mastery of the rules give it the once-over and give suggestions?
No one knows when the Death Cult first took root aboard the Scrap Hogg. It certainly predates its rusting hull plates and current occupation. There was no founding charter or no recorded martyr. Only the persistent fact that the ship has survived places and practices that should have damned it long ago suggest the God-Emperor's hand in its continued existence. And for over a millennium, the cult has acted as the vessel’s unseen immune system. As the Scrap Hogg works the worst margins of Imperial space stripping derelicts saturated with warp residue whilst crewed with the dregs of humanity sprinkled with some Xenos it is under constant exposure of the taint of heresy. Chaos rarely arrives openly. It creeps in through altered prayers, private symbols, and subtle deviations of faith. Sometimes the Xenos influence the crew to shift their beliefs. The cult watches for these signs with practiced precision. When corruption is confirmed it is removed quietly and completely. Bodies disappear. The crew quickly stops mentioning the names of those taken.
The ship's Xenos are tolerated by the cult out of necessity, not trust. The cult allows their presence so long as it remains strictly transactional. Any move on part of the crew toward xenos worship or ideological coexistence is met with swift culling. Betrayal is not feared... it is expected and prepared for. The cult does not challenge the captain’s authority or interfere with profit or navigation. It intervenes only when a line is crossed that others cannot see. Every captain learns the same truth eventually: they command the ship, but the cult is a power onto itself deeply interwoven in the bones of the ship. At times, the cult offers its services to bring the God-Emperor's benediction to the hulls that fall prey to the Scrap Hog. When it does its cultist sneak on board and silently remove anything that offends the God-Emperor of Mankind.
They call themselves the Thousandfold Vigil. The crew calls them the Quiet Ones.
While waiting for opportunity to have my turn could someone double check me cause I'm rusted with rules.
I believe that:
1. I can do Multi-Attack and use Attack Option Aim , i.e. when I roll to hit each target in turn I apply the bonus of Aim to each roll
2. Penalty of Multi-Attack (+2DN per extra target) do not affect DN of my Simple Action

Had a quick look at my rulebook, I believe that's all correct

That is accurate
Just waiting for our first attack action now.
From the weather outside I clearly underestimated the albino brain chiggers…
By the way, another confusion from me. We are inside a Mega Voidship, which is enormously large structure. There was atmosphere good enough to breath in the docks. we are moving somewhere inside that huge structure and are about to break up one of the sealed doors
- why would we believe there is no air on the other side of the doors? That's just a sealed door to stairs. We are not trying to get on the outside of the Mega Voidship, are we?
- if there sufficient air pressure inside then opening a door to vacuum will cause the obvious - air will be be blown out and we will be blow out - so far so good, but we will not be physically able to get back into the area of air pressure, because of we break another doors from the outside - air will be flowing out. Do we have basic laws of physics broken in WH40K?
P.S. Is too too much too dumb questions ? Let me know if it is and I shall step out of the game and let those who understand 40K better to continue.
