Quite understandable. While a larger group is kind of apt for the school setting, it’ll be a lot of work, hopefully also a lot of fun. I also realise that my thumbnail sketch concept was not necessarily set up to play well with (all) others, but sometimes an idea almost forms itself, and I’ve not had the time to come up with a replacement.

An easy way to tweak the concept is to dial back the anger part, and the spikiness, and replace it with some sort of reserve, such as might be fostered by martial arts training. I’m considering someone with two Trad mage parents, one Akashic, one Verbena (the seed of the anger was partly a matter of an avatar with a legacy from the Burning Times; kind of a ready-made inner dark side issue?)
However you indicated some character development tweaks, which might affect how choices are made…?

Sorry I missed this one - kinda obsessed by Mage the Ascension and with gamer burnout maybe clearing up, this sounded like a lot of fun. Wishing you a great game together!
