IC - Alternity Star Drive

In this setting, Stardrive, your characters will begin in frontierspace known as the Verge. You will pilot your own ship (not necessarily owned by you) into this vast region relying on your wits, your skills and your equipment to keep you alive to spend well earned credits. The type of game will depend on you. Diplomats? Spies? Military unit? Free Booters? Merchant Cronies? Decisions like this are up to you. This is why were here at this stage of the game. We make a collective of players, including me - I gotta play the setting part! LOL that comes together to tell some awesome stories, some of it gritty, some of it darkly beautiful (hey, it's space!) and hopefully memorable. Let's do this - together.

So, give a brief intro about yourself so we know where you're at, why you ended up here, and what type of game you want this to be (trust me, this will evolve some) and what kinds of characters you'd like to play - always keep your options open. I am toying with the idea of multiple characters per person - we'll discuss that later. For now, here's me -

I am a child of the 80's. I live in Texas and I love this place. I am both a country mouse and a city mouse. I like Dragons, Rugby, Soccer (henceforth - Futbol), tacos, barbecue, pizza, shwarma, gyro, food! I've been playing rpg's (B/X was my first) since 1981. I have been around a bit and I absolutely love it. I teach art, make art (mostly photography) and I have a wife and kids (these keep me on their schedule - not the other way around!). I wanna play a kind of space noire, a bit gritty, some combat, some roleplay, some cool tech and aliens. Anything else is a bonus. Ok, enough about me. Game on.
