When you emerge into the cool forest air, Ashleigh is already running.
She nearly collapses as she reaches her daughter, falling to her knees as she gathers Violet in her arms. Tears stream freely down her face as she holds the girl close, whispering her name over and over like a prayer finally answered. Violet stirs, but she’s alive, and safe—that is all her mother needs. You all stand nearby, exhausted and bloodied, yet undeniably victorious. A family has been reunited because of your courage.
Behind you, the tomb falls silent at last. Whatever ritual the goblins had begun is broken, and the undead horrors they awakened now lie still.

Now, each of you is invited to write a short epilogue for your character:
Where do they go next? What do they do in the hours or days after this rescue? What lingers in their thoughts after the battle?
Thank you all for more than a month of playing Draw Steel with me. It’s been a joy to run this game for you.
What you’ve just completed was only Part I of the full Delian Tomb adventure.
When the heroes return to Broadhurst—victorious, bloodied, and carrying Violet safely home—they’ll soon learn that the village has problems only true heroes can solve. Several townsfolk have quests, troubles, and mysteries that tie directly into the tomb.
Completing those quests will earn the party the knowledge, tools, and boons needed to access the lower levels of the Delian Tomb, where the legendary Cup of Iulius awaits… along with dangers far darker than goblins and the undead.
And beyond that?
There is a third part to this adventure—bigger, epic, and more dangerous than the first two. I won’t spoil a single detail here.

OOC:
With Violet safely returned to her mother and the first chapter of your tale concluded, the adventure comes to a close. You’ve braved the Delian Tomb, faced goblins, undead, traps, and dark rituals—and triumphed. Now, each of you is invited to write a short epilogue for your character:

[ +- ] Future plans and ideas
My plan is to prepare a brand-new adventure, one of my own, inspired, not only in spirit, by the classic Red Hand of Doom.
But first, I’ll be taking a short break from Draw Steel games. The end-of-year holidays are coming, and it’s a good moment to rest, recharge, and let ideas simmer. After that, I’ll probably open a recruitment thread for the next game—whether with some of you, all of you, or new heroes joining the fray.
For now, though… we did it.
We finished the game.
It’s not every play-by-post adventure that reaches a true ending, and I’m genuinely proud of what we made together.
